Fred,

Wishing you one of your all time nicest birthdays and sincere best wishes for the year ahead! You are one of the great characters in our great sport, with a style all your own. You've got that combination of ruffian-wanna-be / comic / soft hearted bowery boy down pat!
Have a great day buddy!

Terry, that might be the most original description of me I ever heard. Artie Bodendorfer has flown into town and we will spend the evening together at Bug's wake tonight. Billy Incardona wanted badly to fly in, but he was scheduled to open another of his gamerooms today and couldnt get away.

Freddy, Happy Birthday!

Sorry I didn't have time to send a gift, so this "happy birthday" wish on AZ will have to do. When one has had as many birthdays as you and I have had (well over 120 combined!), I guess it's hard to get too excited about another one, but maybe it's a good day to reflect on ones life and how it has been lived. I'll bet you wouldn't change a day of yours! Here's to many more for both of us!:D

Freddy ...

Why do Pool players like to get older?

Happy Birthday, you ole warhorse!!!

Happy Birthday Beard. Got YOUR book for MY birtrhday.{Banking with The Beard} Best Birthday present I ever got!

I never told you before but I love you, ever since I met you a zillion years ago. Right away I knew you were the most ornary and wickedest guy I ever met. And brilliant to boot. You are and always have been one of my favorite guys in pool, along with both Reds and a sober Louie. And how can I not love Keith too for all the fun he has brought me, along with some misery which we tend to forget. And I cannot leave out Beenie on my all time favorites list. He was always trying to rob me, when we weren't partners in some escapade, but he was the most charming thief imaginable.

So you are in good company. My top ten pool favorites rankings would go like this.

1. Jersey Red (always kept me in stitches, the best story teller ever)
2. Danny D. (my best friend in pool for life, and a pretty good story teller himself)
3. Louie (I loved him dearly, and hated his weaknesses)
4. Keith (The funniest one liners ever, and the sweetest stroke on Earth)
5. Cornbread (A man among men, the most fearless man I ever met)
6. Weenie Beenie (The shrewdest man I ever met, and most charming too)
7. Ronnie (Smart as a whip and the best game maker ever)
8. Freddie The Beard (The wickedest sense of humor ever, completely XXX)
9. Pat Fleming (The most honorable man in pool, and most humble also)
10. Billy Incardona (One cool guy and a great player to boot with tons of heart)

Honorable Mention to the closest thing to a son I have ever had - Tang Hoa.
