The auction has been ended. Reason given: "The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale."

Hopefully the police were notified about the auction.

Hey Guys,
I will keep everyone updated on this situation...
I was just contacted by the seller.
He is not seeing the picture...
Authorities will have to get involved..

Best of luck to you getting your cue back.

Be sure to take screen captures showing your cue with his user id & the auction number. Soon, if you haven't done so yet. Just incase ebay removes the listing.

He'll see the picture soon enough. The cue is beyond a doubt a "one of" and as long as the proper steps were taken when it got ripped the dude holdin has got no out.

Let's just hope it doesn't get "stolen or lost" in the interim.

TKS for keeing us updated.

lol.. i was just reading the responce to Kenny's email to the seller on ebay..

what got me was that he said make a fair offer and the cue is yours..

lol..

i guess he doesnt understand NO MATTER HOW he got the cue, no matter how many cues he traded for it.. and no matter how much cash was involved.. its still a stolen cue and still HAS to be returned to the rightfull owner.. sad to say it.. but sucks to be him if he is telling the truth.. but he is obligated to give it back...

well... the boys in blue will just have to knock on his door and explain it to him in person..

Sorry to hear this, Ken. Hopefully things will work out soon and you'll get it back. Hopefully this thief at V.F. will be apprehended, as well.

Sellers moving stolen goods need to understand that the $hit always flows back uphill. Hopefully it gets back to the source.

There is no question Ken should get this cue back. If you have something stolen you as the rightful owner need to do the due diligence....dot all the i's and cross all the t's....to facilitate the getting it back part at a future date.

Not necessarily, it depends on state law if he didn't know it was stolen when he bought it.

Call the cops, don't be stupid like O J.

i believe that is how it works in pa..

i have a friend who owned a pool hall.. and he bought cues from somebody one time and it turned out that they were stolen from another pool hall that is only like 5 miles away.. he didnt know they were stolen. but when the other pool hall owner heard that he bought them, he sent the cops over and they made him return them.. and he lost out on what he paid for them..

cant help but feel for the guy if his trans was legit.

then all your doing is closing one case and opening another.

somehow it will get back to the guy. cost of the cue prob puts it at a felony

To: all AZer
nothing was done cops,, not do anything ..ebay also ..all were all contacted but nothing ...anyone knows this guy pls let me know ..he contacted me told me to make and offer for my owe cue back .you believe that..Thank You all Ken Carfagno from highendcues.com

Now that's a first. I remember, a guy in my room saw someone with one of his stolen cue. He walked right up and took the cue from the guy. He called the cops and they cops can't do anything about it and he keep the cue as it was legally his. Why don't you call the guy up and say you're interested in buying. Just take the cue from him...it's legally your and he basically can't do anything about it as he has to prove that he was bought from a source.

Regards,
Duc.

What would happen if you found the same cue in a pawn shop, and it went through the required legal holding period, and you didn't know it was stolen and purchased it? I understand morally what the answer would be, but would it then be legally yours, or not? I purchase cues at pawn shops pretty often.

Even if you legitimately pay for something that is later found to be stolen, you are now in possession of stolen property. The property would be returned to it's original owner, and you would then have to sue the person who sold it to you to get your money back.
