How do you go about suing a cue builder? Just want to get my cue back.

It's you who said he knew, I doubt it more now than ever.

Congratulations for being one of his groupie enablers.
Just cause you're a shit cue maker, doesn't make everybody else one. You are going where you should've went a long time ago - on ignore

An honest shit cue maker at least. (y)

Why anyone would go hang out with a thief like this guy is beyond my comprehension.

Since it's possible fairly or not to judge someone on the company they keep, I will consider your ignoring me a badge of honor, which I have plenty of.

Did OJ ever get his memorabilia back? Can’t remember how that worked out for him.
Last I heard no one had collected his reward money offered for information leading to the real killer.

In spite of it I'm sure there are Buffalo or SC fans that would love to hang out with him and bask in the glory of his life.

He's probably a really nice guy in person......

I think you missed my point. OJ. Retrieving items that he said belonged to him. That’s what landed him in prison!

Send a guy with a tire iron.... problem solved
Had a guy who owed my wife back 3 decades ago when I met him. I went to his work and asked nicely for the $400 he owed, which was alot then and we didn't have it. He laughed in my face.

Later, when it was just us, he wasn't laughing. He wasn't so bold. The money was paid.

People who cross others are comfortable with it. Until they are made uncomfortable.

Duc:
Start off by sending a 'Signature Required' letter.
Give him a respectable reminder then finish with a 'P.S.' ultimatum. You waited LONG enough, you're more than entitled to recourse action(s).
CURIOUS, if this cue-dude isn't on the UP & UP, maybe  a letter to the IRS is in order? WE ALL KNOW how they operate... before 5:AM visits with cnn in tow. :sneaky:

About three months after the Not Guilty verdict, OJ was strolling along Venice beach with two babes on his arm. He came walking down the street toward our poolroom (Yankee Doodles) and I told our armed and licensed security guard not to let him in if he comes toward the door. When he got close our rough tough security guard backed away from the entrance. I walked outside and stood at the entrance, looking down at the sidewalk. He glanced up our way and took a left and crossed the street to the bar (Baja Cantina) across the street from us. Last I saw they let him and his girls inside.

My daughter knew Nicole (she was a regular customer where Heather worked in Santa Monica) and just the sight of him waltzing along like nothing ever happened disgusted me. If he had come up the steps to our entrance I was going to tell him he was not welcome here. I don't think he would have done a God damned thing, except turn around and go somewhere else.

I just came back from banging around on the table for a few hours.

A guy I know was banging on the next table with his ebony Southwest.

I asked him what happened to his Searing Sneaky Pete that he used to bring in and he said he sold it on Facebook.

I asked did he have any more Searing cues and he told me he did.

He then said he sent another Searing Sneaky Pete to Dennis for something and that was over a year ago and he has not heard a thing out of Dennis since then about his cue.

I guess the guy collects his own cues at somebody else's expense.

Did Searing ever commit to any kind of time frame for the repair? I'm not suggesting that he's in the clear if he didn't. If you're asking to have your cue returned, he needs to return it or offer to expedite the repair by a certain date.

The Martin case was not stand your ground, It was never used. It was only discussed in the news. Stand your ground is a hearing before a judge. If it is determined to be, you are not charged with anything. Zimmerman went to trial claiming self defense. It predated doorcams. Today it may have been different. Nice to have no witnesses.

PROSECUTORIAL IMMUNITY

Florida’s Stand Your Ground law provides potential immunity from prosecution for an accused whose actions are shown to fall within the provisions of the statute. The potential for immunity marks another significant departure from self-defense claims at common law.

In the Zimmerman case it didn't even remotely apply. He was out in the open essentially hunting that kid much like those three guys that were just convicted couple weeks ago. All trayvon Martin needed was witnesses and Zimmerman would have been locked away.

They had one witness the girl that he was on the phone with at the time it happened but when they put her on the stand she was so bad almost illiterate she didn't help at all.
First, that isn't what happened. What happened is that guy A went to keep an eye on guy B who he felt was looking suspicious around houses late at night. Guy B went out of his way to violently attack guy A for no reason and was literally bashing his head into the sidewalk about to cause him death or great bodily harm. Guy A, in fear for his life, shoots guy B in self defense to prevent himself from being murdered. It was fully justified in actuality, and found to be fully justified by a jury. Second, I'm not sure you understand the gist of Florida's stand your ground where the only thing that really changed about the Florida self defense laws with the new "stand your ground" provisions is that no matter where you are you no longer have any duty to do your best to retreat before defending yourself. You pretty much need to be able to prove your case up front though to be eligible for protection from prosecution under stand your ground rather than there being any presumption of innocence. Third, if there had been a witness as you brought up what would have actually happened is that Zimmerman would never have been prosecuted because the witness would have of course substantiated that Zimmerman acted in self defense and had no choice. Fourth, the prosecutors case was super weak from the get go and Zimmerman was probably only charged because Martin was black and the public unjustifiably pressured for his prosecution because of it. Had Martin been white, Zimmerman very likely would never have been charged in this case because the evidence didn't support it.

I am sure Dennis hasn't sold/lost or anything like that. I recently picked up a cue that was sent in for refinish 2 years ago. He's got a lot of work and with the amount of local players that stop in on a daily to get repair work done, its no wonder he cant answer the phone. Not only local players from his area, but a lot of us from Miami drive almost 2 hours when we need work done.
I am not defending Dennis, but what i can say is that i have been there dozens of times and he's always swamped.
To the op, send him a cert letter to send the cue back if he hasn't worked on it. It took 2 years for mine to get refinished yours may be coming up.
