Dude. You are exactly right. I want a porn site I just want to fill it with pool content. I started a thread with that title awhile back and I got everything BUT someone saying "I can do that for this price" or "I know a guy who can do that."

Thats all I want. It makes me nuts when I think about it. I know its my fault as much as anything for not having the patience to dig and find the right solution. All I want to do is give someone a link to a working site and say "This is what I want. How much?" So far when I tried that I got a cute "Let me google that for you" response and five or six people telling me what they couldn't do. I have a long temper but damn whenever I get into this whole thing it puts me on full puppy kicking tilt.

Maybe you could approach a computer science college professor in the area. Ask him/her if a group of the students wouldn't mind tackling this obstacle as their class project. Real world experience and a win win situation for all parties. Maybe they could have a summer intern work on it...who knows what's out there...shake the tree and see what falls.

I think as a biz man perspective, you have a warmed up market who is watching pool, their noses are open so you'll do even better than you would if it was a one-off match where peoples mind isnt on pool.

speaking for myself, i'm a all or nothing kind of guy, and when i'm in pool mode, its pool 24/7 in one form or another. I'm playing or watching or talking to players, betting something pool always. When i'm not around pool, i have zero interest in it.


I'd go for it, everyones nose will be open and you should get more buys than ever!!! I hope you do, i'd even bet you do.

As far as a package deal I was thinking it MIGHT be possible to do something like $60 for both instead of $35 each but I would have to crunch the numbers more to see if that could work. Cut anymore than that and I dont see us having a shot to get even.

dont get me wrong, JA is a monster too.

NO that was me , Archer is no angel I would not feel bad at all to see him get skipped.

I know that won't happen because Justin just ins't like that.

So Shane will make Archer look bad and them they can get a ton of viewers for Busty and Shane, GO FOR IT

I dont know about counting Johnny out. That would be foolish. He is more than capable of running awaw with it. But no i am not about to bet money on it neither. He is the underdog in this match for sure but no more than Busta was when Busta played Shane and we all know how that turned out.

I think SVB and Busty have more chaché than Dechaine right now. As a customer, I would rather watch Busty than Dechaine/SVB or Archer. It will be interesting to see how everything shakes out.

I am very excited about this possible king of the hill format. It will be cool to have TAR rankings and have guys moving up and down. I know if I was a professional level player, I'd be willing to put my own money up to get in the box. If you win, you can get into the rankings and have the chance to earn more from TAR (that would be my thinking anyway). It's almost a personal investment to get on the board.

I agree Busta and Shane have a bigger fanbase and TAR still needs to prioritize matches with the better PPV potential.

I asked about Dechaine because I dont want to see him get a bye and challenge for the top spot (Busta atm) right away. Yes he did defeat Hatch but it to me it feels like that performance was not enough to earn him a crack at the title just yet.

By the way, what do we call the TAR champ? Just that, TAR champ? King of the hill? Most awesome poolplayer on the planet?

I talked to Dennis yesterday. Week before Tunica is looking good. Just have to find him an opponent. Shane said he thinks he'll be out of the country for something then. Have to sit down and get all the dates straight. Not sure who to go after if SVB cant make it. Maybe Alex...?

I am in for both the Archer SVB match and the Busta vs Winner match. I think if anything the upcomming match against Busta gives Archer and SVB even more heat to play under as now you are not playing for $4000 or $1000, you are instead playing for $4000 and a chance at another $4000 the following week, so potentially $8000, or the booby prize of $1000 for losing.

I think atm TAR is getting to a point where it might be the best outlet for professional pool we have and I would like to see at least a top notch match between top notch pros every 2 weeks with alot of winners coming back to "defend" their title. It becomes an ongoing king of the table thing. We might actually start to see who really is the best of the best.

After Busta vs Archer/SVB get the winner of THAT match in there against Souquet... and then get Orcullo in against the winner of that... Get all those elite guys in there and lets see who comes out on top.
