Great job! I was going to do the same thing tonight, but elected to stay home and read AZ instead. (As opposed to going to a redneck bar with a bunch of hooting and hollering drunks, and spending 6 hours to make 75 bucks.)

Damn, when I think about it like that, I really should have gone. :)
 
This was a $10 entry, $200 added tournament with 25 players. I got $220. Not bad considering it only lasted three hours:D.

Not bad at all...The tourneys around here are generally poorly run, and not enough tables to finish anytime this year.

The one I skipped was $10 entry also, but the Calcutta is a b*tch...those drunks think I can really play. :rolleyes:

If I happen to not win, I waste a lot of cash buying even half of myself. The risk/reward analysis just doesn't pan out...unless I'm really itching to play.
 
Your wife is home with a new baby and you're out at the bars? WTH? :grin:

I like the race to one events - they don't take forever and there is hardly any downtime. It's also kind of fun that every game is do or die. Plus, as your victory obviously attests, anyone can win it. :grin-square:

I'm just breaking balls - Congrats on the take-down, easy-e!!!

Thanks Jay:D. I love it on a diamond table with a red circle cue ball. These tables are JACKED and the cue ball weighs 14 lbs. Still fun though!
 
Way to go easy. Was it at the hill top? I have been thinking about riding up there myself. Glad to see everything is going well for you and yours. How is the table doing?
 
Yep, hill top. That tournament runs fast and smooth! The table is good, don't get to play as much as I'd like, but I moved it and leveled it and it is doing pretty good.

I think it was 1984 1 game of 8 balll 2 out of 3 sets.
A bunch of them later...I won... SOOOOO sweet!!!

Not sure if it was the win or the $10,000 prize....but thanks for the memory!
