In one pocket i'll play Bartrum even. His last attempt was clearly not NEAR his best. I will also play Cory 11/7, based on the players I played ,the spot, and the winner, Duel has an edge, you can ask anyone that truly knows both our games. In 9 ball Bartrum pleaded with me to get David to play him, that is also a good game for us to gamble at. Finally your offer to stake Cory with the 7 against David is another game we can gamble at, which incidentally doesn't make me happy. You have 2 champions in Bartrum and Duel, and Cory might be arguably the best player in the world.I'm 63 years old with diminishing health and skills, and strongly considering retiring again for the 5th. time. The last time you played Chris, it wasn't even close. You robbed him, hell, I dont think he had a positive ball count in 5 of the games. If you want to adjust a little, I will bring Chris myself. If you want to play even, you are mre than welcome to come to Columbus and play. I am not woofing , just offering a solution. As for 11-7 against Corey, that seems real close to the right game, but its hard to stake a game when you feel its 50/50 at best and you are giving odds on the money. If Dav id g wants the 7 ball from Corey, he has got it. Let me know what you want to bet and Corey will be there. Take it easy.

Billy, although off topic for the game, I just had to take this opportunity to say I must have watched that Hopkins vs Cook one hole tape back in 91 that you, Grady and Danny commentated 3 zillion times and each time I enjoy your banter along with Grady and Danny so very much.

Ray, I appreciate your offers, but I am not the kind of a player that can go on the road and win. At one time I could,but that's far behind me. Bartrum is an excellent player,and in reference to the game that we played he didn't run more than 4 balls in any of the games we played. I'm sure I don't have to explain to you why I won't spot him . But I will come to Columbus and play him even if he can't run more than 4 balls. Of coarse that's rediculous, as is him not running more than 4 balls when we played ,is also rediculous. So if you truly want to gamble on Bartrum ,i'll play him in Dallas even. If he plays his game he has an excellent chance of beating me. Many players like his game over mine. In regard to giving 50% to a player when he is getting staked in a tough game, should be negotiable. I'm sure that just about any player would be willing to accept much less when the bet is high and the game is close. And you certainly seem to me like the type of a person that would be able to negotiate a lesser % with a player you stake, considering the circumstances. I also am just trying to think of a solution. This is not meant in any way to knock Billy's action, and I think he knows that. In fact, Billy may be the best action anywhere in the country for straight shooting youngsters. There is no way he plays like he did in his prime. One thing he has proven the last couple of years is that he isn't bullet proof anymore.

How many bags of sand would you be willing to play for if you had a fair even game that would bring you to Ohio? I would like to put a friend of mine into some big action I would post 3 sets and you guys play, with the stipulation that someone has to be up at least 2 sets before anyone can quit. Also I would like any rail action you or anyone you are with wants. My buddy is not a worldbeater. He is a buisness owner that I want to put into high dollar action. I will give you the details if you PM me. It is a gamble, but I want to put him in highdoller action just to railbird it.
