Is There Some Hidden -or- Special Meaning To Your Unusual Az Name / Avatar?

Not much mystery to mine. My name is Chris Dryden so...Cdryden. The name I was given by a prominent player in my area, "John Dudley" probably wont fit in the space provided! No, it's not a bad name either!

My Avatar is one of my prized possessions, it's my autographed Keith McCready cue ball. The cue ball is from the first decent sized tournament win I had. I talked the room owner into letting me replace it win a brand new one so I could keep it. Years later I was able to get my favorite player to autograph it for me thanks to JAM! That was just icing on the cake for me.

elvicash - Whole lot of Elvis's especially with the impersonators and of course the original king himself. There is only Johnny Cash the king of country.

I keep meaning to make an avator pict just never seem to get around to it.

Pronounce with a long i sound like elv=eye-cash --- I also hear it with the long e elv-eee-cash either way is fine.

I will be at the Derby working the straight pool. Come by and say hello. Maybe give it a shot.

My username is pretty simple. My name is Pete but everyone calls me Petey.
I got the full name several years ago at a tournament. I was walking through the doors and someone called me Peteypooldude from across the room, after that it seemed everytime I went to a tournament someone would call me Peteypooldude and it just stuck. My avatar is me and a road buddy of mine taken at the Smokey Mountain Shootout a few years back

cajunfats

Back in 1984, when I was working as an Army MWR recreation specialist in Germany, we had a Billiard Room with 4 old Brunswick Sport Kings. A group of GI's became regulars and eventually the typical pool player sh!t talk occured.

One of the guys, Wayne(the Kansas Wheat Farmer) Findlay knew I was from Louisiana and started calling me cajunfats. I decided to use it as my screen name.

My avatar is a print that was given to me by Deb Aarens at the BCA Tournament in Las Vegas around 1994, when I was the Assistant League and Program Director at the BCA in Iowa City, Iowa.

I am what my AZ moniker implies. Every so often I get complimented on my game and usually reply with," I've seen good. I'm just a wannabe".

I'm checking in for Shooting Arts here..he's been MIA since the NOLA water problem.

"Shooting Arts"....is it pool related, denoting a dexterity with a cue?

Does he have a problem with anyone named Arthur?

Does he have a problem with those who produce graven images?

Is he so adept with a firearm that he can shoot a replication of Van Gogh's
'Cafe in Arles' scene into a target 400 yards away?

Hu is depriving this forum of his knowledge, common sense, and humor....
...well, maybe not so much the humor....Sean Leinen and meself have an
excuse (Irish blood)...Hu's jokes are just as bad.

Sooo, Hu, c'mon and defend yourself before all this supposition goes
VIRAL......

Stutz is a nickname given to my late father decades ago. It has been given to all my brothers and sisters. I'm the only one of the family who visits forums and was given the honor of owning my dads personalized license plate of "stutz", just seems right to me :)

name and avatar

My name represents what I do every time I log in this site,Lollygag. My Avatar is my business! No seriously,I am a plumber. Most people are disgusted by the site of it.Does not bother me at all.I just stood up,took a look and had to have a picture.Call me a freak I guess. As far as using it for my avatar,I don't believe anyone likes it.That makes me laugh. Its all in good fun.I think that anyone who says they don't look in the bowl after is a liar!

MoneyBox - When I play, I'm like an open box full of money where anyone can come grab some. I don't look for the best game and I don't haggle spots. I'll take the worst of it just to play.

No avatar, but I may have been known to toss the occasional putter. :D

My name speaks for itself. I've lived 25 of my 28 years in this city. It took me living in Colorado and seeing other parts of the country to realize how unpleasant this city really is. Some love it here. To each his own...

Avatar is a great picture of the American ceramics artist, the "Mad Potter of Biloxi", Geogre Ohr.

Your avatar is disgusting!

Is that supposed to be Marlo Thomas in there from the "That Girl" years? It bears a striking resemblance. :grin-square:

I think we may have just reached the point of having learned more than we needed to about fellow az'ers. :D

How do you know vegas sucks. you have lived a total of 3 years outside of vegas and now you are a expert on which cities sucks and which ones dont.

The big problem is not if you are right or wrong because everyone knows Vegas sucks, the problem is it took you 23 years to figure out that vegas sucks and to get the hell out of there.

If vegas sucks so bad and you was born and raised there maybe you suck too. Is it possible that all that suck could of rubbed off on you:D

You know why the wind blow in northern nevada, Vegas sucks.

The real Light switch is when you figure out you are right , then you figure out it took you 23 years to figure you are right. And you only living in colorado for 3 years . Hell you maybe another 20 years before know that colorado sucks too.

welcome to az billiards :dance::ok::joyful::winknudge::outtahere:

Thanks Mike. I got out of here as soon as a broke college kid could afford to. ;) And I will again. But for now I have a roof over my head and I shouldn't complain too much- But I still do. Heh.

Suck probably did wear off on me, who knows! haha

Thanks for the welcome!
