Well I aint smokey....but its so hot out here i nearly caught fire so I'll give it the old college try.....

Smorgie, baby. RIP, Smorgie! You are gone but NEVER, NEVER, NEVER forgotten. Smorgie used to call me "YAM" instead of "JAM" because he said I was sweet. I sure do miss him.
 
Smorg is on top of the REP ladder this morning..... He is truely missed, but never forgotten..........

Good words Hu.

JoeyA was my "sponsor" way back in the day when I finally got that highly sought after and much balleyhooed 11th greenie! :grin: It was his rep that finally lit up that mystical, mythical 11th all important little green square. :grin: And he's grown to become one of my most trusted and valued friends, just like Hu! :)

Although some may have had a slight nervous breakdown when the rep-o-meter stopped counting, I still like and even prefer to use it to pass brief notes back & forth. Much simpler way, too me at least, than going thru the process of PMing and then keeping enough space clear.

You guys were closer to Doug than I was. We never talked over the phone or traded e-mails. He was a funny guy who was generous in his attempts at bringing humor here. Whenever we traded rep comments, he was always a very cool cat.

The commradery (sp?), the pool news & history and the humor are what keeps me coming back here most every day.
 
He still waits with bait on his breath for green, so keep repping him even though he has ascended to his rightful place as KING OF REP! RIP Doug.

I love a happy ending :grin:. Everyone that has helped make this happen has a little of Doug in there spirit! This move insures that Smorg will be remembered and we can proudly share stories and posts by him for ever.
