I was laid up with a gimpy knee most of the weekend and the sitting aroudn was made almost pleasurable by The Action Report and the streaming of the Olathe 10 ball ring game.

Great job guys... especially for your maiden run!! You sure made my weekend by being able to watch those guys.

My only problem, and I'm not complaining... just offering feedback, was the choppy streaming.

I've had you bookmarked since you first announced your existance. You are right next to az.

Thanks for doing that!!

Absolutely great job guys! I couldn't get away from it all weekend! But I do have these problems: My dog hates me. Completely out of all beverages and munchies. I didn't play pool all weekend. I didn't show up to work on my buddies MC like I said I would. :)

they recorded the entire event (and some side action) and are working on offering a dvd (or several).

You guys are onto something here. This IS the wave of the future when we will get ALL our programming directly through the internet. Television as we know it, will change radically in the next few years. It is just a matter of improving the technology so that the picture and sound quality compares favorably with television. And that will come, sooner rather than later.

All that being said, Justin, Chad and Tanner did a FANTASTIC job! I can't emphasize that enough. It was not like it was your first show either. You ironed out a lot of bugs quickly. And gave us pool fans something to sweat and enjoy.

I only expect you to improve with each production. I liked your camera angle on the final table. Good end zone shot. Try hanging a "mic" over the table, next to the light. Similar to what they do in boxing matches. You'll pick up a lot more of the table chatter between the players.

NO ONE has done, or is doing anything like this with Pool. Except in Asia I should add, with the live television coverage of the WPC. ESPN coverage is tired and dated. Accu-Stats makes great shows, except once again they are dated. It's just not the same when you already know who won the match. There is NOTHING like seeing it live!

I would suggest that you continue to provide this type of coverage FREE for a while until you have worked out all the bugs. You will also build up your audience. I saw over 400 people watching the Finals. When you have everything working smooth, then you can begin to charge a nominal fee, say $9.95 for an entire tournament. Once you have established your name and reputation, you will get many buyers.

Let's see, 1,000 "buys" at $9.95 equals 10K. That will pay a few bills and keep you guys going. And it could get much better! How's 10,000 "buys" sound? Hell, I want to invest in your company.

I watched for 8 hours yesterday -- and it was great. Sure, there are a lot of advantages in being there in person -- but sitting in your recliner at home with a wireless laptop -- and watching that level of pool -- was JUST GREAT!

It was also very entertaining reading all of the woofing and such going on in the chat window as well (sometimes I missed a great shot because I was too busy reading the chat...LOL).

Thanks to everyone for setting all of this up and running it. I definitely utilized it (along with 300-400 people at any given time as well).

I agree with all of the posters. The Action Report is ahead of its time and they are doing a great job. Keep it up guys!

Great Job

I agree with everyone. This is exciting and I hope it continues in the future. It can only get better. Great idea and great execution on the streaming. Keep up the good work.

Needless to say this was a whole new experience for me. I thought you guys did a great job as well. Like Jay said, you ironed out the bugs rather quickly. You definitely made my weekend.

I watched about 15 hours over the weekend and it was awesome I finally went to bed at four this morning just cause I couldn't keep the toothpick pieces holding my eyes open from falling out. Justin, Chad, and Tanner did a fantastic job and thanks very much.

It was great the whole time but it went to another level when the laptop mic went on and you could hear the bleacher banter live. getting jesse & keith on there was gravy.

It reminded me of the first Derby City webcast. I like the informal nature of it at times.

IMO they could market this coverage to events. Once the kinks are figured out and they have everything they would like to do figured out I think it would be great for a pool room.
Everyone across the country watching and most locals at the place.
I dont think that if they were to keep the Ring Game format that the entry would have to be 3k to be a success. IMO lower amounts with the tour traveling would be nice. Perhaps a few lower ones and some a few bigger main event type ones as well.

Thanks to TAR for the coverage.

Great job Justin, Chad and Tanner. The local kids were very tough on the big names in KC Kansas.

Best of luck with building a profitable business for yourselves and providing us poolies a much wanted service. The kinks can be worked out I'm sure!

Looking forward to the next TAR event.

Great Job

I watched it on and off for the entire tournament. Like Jay said, I would be willing to pay for a live TV table at most of the tournaments, as long as I can get a bet with Jay to try and get my money back:D . Johnnyt

Yeah, I'm only stuck $960 on here now. :)

I watched most of the webcast last night. It was choppy, but it was certainly entertaining.

Thanks for hooking it up, guys!

Thanks for all the kind words. We had a blast this weekend and learned alot of things. We met a ton of great people and made some new friends.

I have some good stuff that happened behind the camera to post when I get home.:D :D

We are really excited about this and can't wait to see where we will end up next.

We also are looking into a better way to stream the video at a higher quality.

Thanks to everyone who watched and for all the encouragement.
