Instead of the same old same old, get Jasmine Ouschan in there, especially as all they are doing is races to 75.

How much does 1st, 2nd, and third get? Johnnyt

It doesn't work that way.

Instead, it's $750 to the winner of each match. With 20 matches to be played, that means $15,000 will be paid to match winners. And since each player will play 8 matches, he has an opportunity to win $6,000 of that pot should he go undefeated.

In addition, bonuses are paid for runs of 100 ($500), 150 ($1,000), 200 ($1,500), etc. [The long runs are possible because the shooter can continue if he is on a run of 50 or more when he wins a match.}

Undeniable that Daz is a top notch straight pool player and would make sense in this event. However, among the choices for my vote I decided to go out of the box a bit and vote for Shane. Some might disagree, but I would love to see how a player not as versed in straight pool but has enormous all around talent and is at the top of his game would perform against more established straight pool players.

I would love to see Mike Sigel in there. Although he is older, he is the best classic 14.1 player listed. Efren plays a great game as well.

Tough choices, SVB or Max, Mike would also be interesting. In any case I'm looking
forward to the event.

I like Max and would love to see him be the 5th if the fans vote that way but a DCC title doesn't trump Ortmann's 2 world championships in 14.1

Absolute truth... Ortmann belongs in this field hands down.

I voted for Sigel, i like him and he still dabs the rock very nicely. hope he plays in it.

Yeah but did you see the finals in 2009 when Mika ran 97 and was in complete control.
But being down by well over 100 balls Cohen had a 67 and a 52 and a 51 came back and won it 200-181.

Mika was shocked to say the least !

If you didn't see it you can get the dvd at Accu-Stats.

You're testing me now, zilla. I couldn't remember the specifics, so I pulled out my notes.

By my notes, Cohen trailed 14-145 after Immonen ran 97 and 49 (and an intentional foul). Cohen's 9 innings were as follows:

Opening safe, safe, 15, (-1), safe, 65, 52, 18, 51.

Final score 200-181.

Our heard of players during Sigels prime were weaned on the greats from the depression era. Similar to Efrens followers, yet the Roots of play HERE go back Hundreds of years and we love to see its moments again, tho less Often :(. It only Helps us as players and sweaters and the GAme itself, to see this man and Mannerisms in action.

Put any of the Below in their PRIME with ANY other group of players in the world in their prime and I gotta pick those below.

Liscotti, just because we Need a Little more EAST Coast. :grin-square:

Sigel
Varner
Buddy Hall
Rempe
Liscotti
Earl
