great site , sweet cues :D

Are you serious?

Ronnie Allen is who Fast Eddie Felson was based on? Just like Wanderone was who Minnesota Fats was based on right?

Guess no one ever told Walter Tevis that. He claimed time and again both characters were complete fiction.

LOL...amazing. You have stepped over the line from coy sales tactics to complete bullsh!t on this one. If you are such a bad ass super cue dealer why not just go back to dealing with your whales and leave us alone.

I know

but there was a player from Arkansas that claimed 'Fast Eddie' was based on him, but before then, I had always heard 'Fast Eddie' was loosely based on a player that came from Junction City, Kansas.

I was in line at the grocery store today and the people in front of me were talking about it. When I got home the old lady across the street flagged me down and asked me if I had heard about it.

I heard that if you buy one you may get on TV....Ashton Kutcher and the MTV camera's. What was the name of that show? :D

"az was aflame and I missed it..."

now that is funny.

i have to hand it to the guy,he is persistent.

It's like Billy Maze and an OxyClean commercial. You can keep changing the channel, but he's still going to show up on every 4th one.

And to think

My dad told me HE WAS THE REAL FAST EDDIE?

I gotta make a call, NOW!

Should of known when all he ever wanted to play was Keno!

Wait, I'm Fast Eddie!

Will the real Fast Eddie please stand up.:D

"C'mon fat man. Let's play some pool." Fast Eddie Felson, The Hustler

I can't help you on that one, I mostly watch the news and sports on tv. I did hear that each cue comes with a certificate of authenticity from Kaiser Soze.

Well, I am glad someone could get OXYCLEAN to work. Crazy crap left residue and stains and smell. What a waste of $$
And that magic putty; havent plumber been using that stuff for years?

From a secret source:

Fast Eddie Parker was a real-life pool hustler who claimed to be the inspiration for the movie character. But the author of the book which inspired the movie claimed he never met Parker or another guy nicknamed New York Fats or Broadway Fats, who claimed to be the inspiration for the Minnesota Fats character.

"Felson" was Fast Eddie's last name in the movie, but the person who probably inspired his character, despite the author's assertions to the contrary, was born with the name Eddie Parker. Parker used a number of aliases, including Felson.

So, I guess The most talked about cue was recently signed from the grave.

One thing is for sure..... this carnival has some free sideshows. ... Yes folks, step right up and see the beared lady shave!!!!
