I love original "real" autographs. Starting to get a good collection. There's still a few I'm wanting but passed on some that weren't verified or just didn't seem right.

Some are pictures, some are balls, some are programs.

Here is my list so far.

Grady Mathews
Jimmy Fusco
Leil Gay
Pete Fusco
Rich Leski
Larry Liscotti
Tom Cruise
Paul Newman
Jimmy Caras

Buddy Hall
Earl Strickland
Tom Kennedy
Ray Martin
Grady Mathews
Eddie Taylor
Mike Sigel
Johnny Archer
Nick Varner

You guys should check out this website www.newdeco.com then click on billiard photos..i have purchased from them and are great to deal with..nice old pics.

I have signed thongs from Lee, Fisher, and all the pretty pros.

I have the trophy Efren won at the Gabriel's Open in Vegas a few yrs back.
I have a signed bridge be Efren and Bustamante.
I have an iou signed by Parica.

The One Pocket Hall of Fame dinner has been a great place to collect autogrpahs since the very first one -- here's a pic of two now deceased HOF members, the late Weenie Beenie, collecting one from Bugs Rucker:
BugsandWeenie.gif

In that one banquet hall, can likely be found:
Efren (probably Bustamante also)
'Squirrel' Carpenter
Varner
George Rood
Vernon Elliott
and hosts of other legends too numerous to list that come out of the woodwork for this special event at the Derby City Classic...

preserving autographs

What if anything do you guys use to protect autographs on cueballs? The older signatures in my collection seem to be fading some. Thanks!

I have numerous cue balls that I've gotten signed with a black Sharpie and they seem to be holding up well. I have the balls displayed in a case to keep them from getting dusty, etc. Several of them are several years old and look fine. What type of pen were yours signed with?

I have a question guys, I am a massive pool fan from across the pond and unfortunately I canno't get to the major events to collect autographs from my favourite players and what I would like to know is there any way to contact players and get them to send an autograph or do the pros frown upon this?.

Any help is appreciated

Many are on myspace or have their own website. Given the nature of most pro players, I would just send an email requesting permission; then send a ball, photo, or whatever.

Save yourself the postage and just fly to Derby City Classic.

Thongs?

Why would you want an autographed rubber fabricated shoe with a strap that goes between the big and second toe?? :D

Do you have both shoes or just one?
