No point in me explaining again....I've done it clearly several times of recent....yes I'm behind and its my own fault...but I will be caught up very shortly. Lastly....I highly suggest you seek better legal counsel. My father's wife is an attorney and I wish everyone could of heard her laugh as she read this BS. Spend all you'd like....my attorney is free. You will get your cue...not a refund & definately not both.:rolleyes: Now continue to bash away....and go to dinner tonight & call the chef a few names too as he prepares your food.;)

I guess he calls this "customer service". :(
 
Yesterday I delivered a set of business cards to a client and they were 4 days late. He gave me HELL every day they weren't in his hands.
The guy who handles shipping and delivering for me has been going threw some family health issues and made his first slip-up, he accidently shipped out these cards to a different client.
I gave the client who got the wrong cards a break on his order in return for over-nighting those cards back to me (which I payed for), and when I finally got the cards to the original client I gave it to him at cost.
The entire time the option was there for him to get a refund on his deposit.
It wasn't my fault, but I was responsible for keeping up to my word that he'd get his cards when I said he would and I didn't. So I WAS to blame and accepted responsibility for the mistake.

The point is that my business, just like Mr. Varney's, is like most any other business, very heavily relying on you or your companies reputation.

Varney has always seemed like a stand up guy to me. And people like the work he does. I just think he might need some help running his business, he's obviously a talented person, he just seems to lack a business mind. That last post from him was just really out of line, imo.

He said he's not dropping by this thread anymore but hopefully he does and gets a chance to read this, and I hope it helps.

A good post, but I can't imagine what's going through his head
to allow these posts to continue when he could have
simply made it a priority to finish and send the stick.

He may not have destroyed his business but he's surely done it
irreperable damage.

I'm just not sure if you were to pick up one of his used cues these days whether it will be considered a collectible like a Joe Namath rookie card or one more like an OJ Simpson card.

The Bottom Line

Here is the bottom line and to me nothing else matters. I also encourage Mr. Varney and any other fan club member to offer and explantion. Please.

I have asked Kv for an explanation and i cannot receive one which means he knows he is wrong!!!

I ordered a cue,,,,, he told me 60 days because someone cancelled!!!

I pay for cue. He responds after 3 months or so telling me sorry its late i will have it by the end of said month. Wellllllllllll and then every month after that for 6 months i get a promised date and it is not delivered.

Now my questions to Varney are ...Why would you tell me 60 days ? (i know why really).

How can you say now there are 20 cues ahead of me when originally and the only reason i bought the pos was you said it would be 60 days? ( i really want to hear this one, and again i think i know why)

How can others who ordered ( and more than one ) after me receive thier cue already when you wont move anyone up??

How can you act like i am at fault for this when i all ever wanted was an answer and not a lie?

I challenge ALL Varney backers and himself to answer these questions,,, All the rest doesn't matter . I want THESE questions answered.

I have stiil never heard from your FREE attorney either Kev, can you PLEASEEEEE have her pm me or can pm me her contact info right away, it may be in your best interest.
ps Mr. Wheat can you please have KV's attorney contact me via pm,, it is very important and since she is free it should not matter.

Nice how you can spin this in any direction guess he depends on whose camp your in here. You quoted Kev and what KV said wasn't rude or vulgar. What KV was replying too was a custmer who is so foul he said something about KVs wife 'dropping' a child. Incredible the Moderators allowed that to stay in view. Pure vulgar & disrespect of KV's wife over a late pool cue delivery? I must say I'm proud of my bud for not saying what I would. You simply crossed the line there. If I was Kev I'd send him his cue in a shoebox but no Kev as always will ship out a real crusher.
Take a look at his Trader remarks are and there are 3 pages from customers that tells another story. Sorry guys but I for one have seen enough of this witch hunt. I don't like seeing my friend railroaded like this I asked him how bad it was and he said he's only even really late on 10-15 cues. The rest are on time and he said that some will come out before others something about some were quicker to make cause he already had certain wood closer to finnish size so a few will ship sooner.
The only problem here are some pushy customers but its no big deal ask any pool cuemaker they got stories buddy you no it! Let you in on a little secret too. Spent a little time with Kev and since I'm a wood worker - fabricator and have lathe experience he's now letting me turn some tapers on some wood. WOW! :dance: Not exactly making me a cuemaker but I'm trying to pay close attention :D and after peaking over his shoulder for a couple hours he goes to great extra lengths on little things and all for function. I got a hole bag full of his cues and I'm not ashamed to say they play better than any I've owned and I was playing years ago with a 1 of high end Nova that I still own. You don't see too many unhappy Varney owners so like I said that tells a different story. Sorry if I seem rude tonight I just wanted to say my peice. I'll bow out now and wait for the red rep from the other camp. Not that I ever have but I won't be posting here much more anyway as I gave Kev my word heck he'll prolly make me sign some no compete form.:grin:

Hondo, even Kevin knows it is impossible to argue with the truth, and everytime Kevin responds he only looks more foolish. The reason for this is because Kevin has never responded or answered the only questions that are important. The following kinda sums up most if not all of the questions that need answers:

1) KEVIN WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON - DID YOU SPEND EVERYONES MONEY AND HAVE NONE FOR REFUNDS.

2) KEVIN WHY MUST YOU CONTINUE TO OPENLY LIE AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE FORUM MEMBERSHIP.

3) KEVIN WHY HAVE YOU NOT APOLOGIZED TO THE FORUM FOR YOUR BEHAVIOR.

4) KEVIN WHEN IS EVERYONE GOING TO GET THEIR MONEY OR THEIR CUES, THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING AT THIS TIME, AND KEVIN IF YOU ANSWER NOTHING ELSE ANSWER THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wronged clients aside, the saddest part of this whole scenario is the reminder of how "internet life" has made it so easy for some folks to throw accountability out the window.

It doesn't take much imagination to guess how much of whats been said here would have played out in the face-to-face envirnoment of a pre-internet pool room...

If nothing else, I guess the internet can be credited with keeping the body count down. :)

AGREED, it's created a fertile hunting ground for predators and scammers.

Your post is great, and if people remembered today they are a seller, and tomorrow they could be a buyer. Or treat other transaction the way you want to be treated.

The one thing I wonder. If KV aka Verney Cue is all things people say about him. Why has not the owner of AZB BANNED HIM like he did PAINPOOL, aka Aaron Painter.

i think he's friends with KV. i sent him a pm asking about this and he seemed defensive and implied that every one should just let it go

According to KV he has the worst problems in the world and thats why he is SLOW. He needs to grow up and realize he aint the ONLY one with family problems or just having a kid. He is lucky enough to work at home and see his child after he/she is born. Most others have to go to work wherever that may be, and for most that is not at home. Everytime he responds to these threads from his paying customers its the same ol dog and pony show. Its always "their" fault for "him" being late. When Varney Cues goes under, he'll blame azbilliards as well. He should look himself in the mirror, read all these threads and realize his crappy responses to his own customers is what cost him his business....
