IMO the cues I have seen pics of give Varneys the 5 out all day,perhaps a poll with pics off both your cues would be a better judge on who makes a nicer cue,you got my vote.WheatCues said:

Thank you but I am not trying to compete with Mr. Varney as far as who makes the better cue...
He obviously has his plate very full... and as a fellow cuemaker I would be more than happy to lend him a hand if that saves his neck from being ruined in this industry...
There is plenty of room for all of us and I don't wish any cuemaker hard times or ill will... I personally would like to see all of us working together without taking business advertising to a personal level... we all have to survive and there is enough business for everyone especially since we ALL have our own style of cuemaking that appeals to the entire customer base of the world !!!!
I personally don't think KEvin's intentions are to rip anyone off... I think he just hit a badluck streak and got way behind in is craft and became overwhelmed... I know how exhausting that can be especially when you are avg. 3 hours a night sleep !!!
I don't kick people when they're down and I think we should be focusing on solutions right now rather than persecution !!!
I am NOT upholding his actions.... I even called him last night just to see if I could help... he didn't answer so I left a message... and he has NOT returned my phone call so I don't know what's going on with him... let's just hope the angry mob didn't push him over the edge !!!

It is a sneaky full splice that I had built by Schmelke. It is all but ready, I need to put on the Ivory joint and it will be ready to ship. It even has some ivory and silver ring work.
