I've played once in a couple years and it was over the holidays at my lady's sisters house. There were 4 of us who played and I went out 1st while my girlfriend went ahead and won. It was the first time she had ever played Monopoly. I'm not kidding. It's going to be a blast :rotflmao1:
Back To Reality
Well I made it back to cold & snow after a 3 hour delay. I arrived home after 3AM.
The last two nights I spent at Fatboy's house playing Max and Fatboy. It's hard to seperate all the poker tournaments & gambling from my past Vegas trips, but my time spent at Fatboy's I will never forget. Max & I played so many races to 7 that I don't remember how many, but I remember winning a free one 7-6, and one gambling 7-2. He probably let me win, but it made my trip.
Eric has talked about doing something big for pool, and I really think he is the man for the job. He has a great business sense and his passion for the game is as strong as anyone I've ever met. I wish we could have played more, but his back was getting pretty bad.
Eric, if you hold an event I would love to be involved. I'll fly there, pay all my expenses, and do anything from being a referee to cleaning up when its over. It would be my pleasure, and I wouldn't accept a dime.

Sounds like he has a great "man cave" or should it be called "The Fat Cave". I would love to play with Mike Massey just because you can tell just how much he loves pool. He seems like the type of person that would be more than happy to show you things for hours and enjoy every minute of it. The Bucktooth Slayer sounds like he is a great host.

Soon, as in Derby City soon. Fatboy is adding $4,000 out of his pocket to the Fatboy Challenge Ten Ball event. I couldn't tell you how many players he has staked and "helped" otherwise already. To the tune of tens of thousands of dollars! Yes, I said TENS of thousands he has put in the pocket of several top players, whose names will not be revealed here.
The guy has been a Godsend in their lives when times got tough. And he did it without fanfare and completely privately. I hope he doesn't mind me mentioning it here. Too late now. :sorry:
Oh, and I've got him stuck a couple hundred myself.

I have spoke to fatboy only a few times since I been back on here, but those few times he has been very cool and definitely helpful. Just the kind of people this sport we love so much needs. A 100 votes for more fatboys lol :thumbup:
