PoolDawg Officially Welcomes Sarah Rousey

Howdy AZBers! I know a few of you out there are fans/friends/loyal followers of Sarah Rousey, so I thought I'd let you all know that PoolDawg will be sponsoring Sarah for the rest of the 2009 WPBA season. She's been really helpful in promoting us in the past, so we wanted to do something to make it a little more permanent and official.

The press release is attached in case anyone wants to read it, pass it on to your favorite billiards website/magazine or put it up on your blogs. On a personal note, I must say that we're all really jazzed about having the opportunity to have Sarah representing us. She's a pretty amazing lady and an absolute riot to hang out with. She'll be dragging Frank around with her to the events, so be sure to say hi and pose for a picture with her and our little ceramic bulldog.

good to hear. Sarah is one of the most genuine and nicest people I've met playing pool... not just pros I've met, but everyone. Congrats to you sarah!

Sweet - congrats Sarah on your sponsorship. Now I know who I can turn to if I need to borrow $50.
 
Congrats to Sarah and Pool Dawg. Sarah will work hard for any sponsor that is smart enough to get her.

Pool Dawg has and does a lot for pool. They are sponsors of many tournaments and sponsor the streaming for the WPBA so we fans that can't be there get to see a lot of the action.

I for one will buy my next pool related items from them...w/o even looking at the price. Johnnyt

Thanks everyone for your kind words and Mike and PoolDawg for everything! I have to say that this is kind of bittersweet. One of my best friends Debbie Schjodt has been the Pool Dawg representative for over a year now and she is deciding to take a break. Thanks to her for saying that all of this is okay. Frank and I both miss you Debbie!!

From one of the tallest players to one of the shortest players - talk about a roller coaster ride! :p

I don't know why it has taken folks so long to figure out that sponsoring Sarah is one of the best choices they can make. This forum can be brutal (just ask CW) and its also the largest pool forum on the net. Sarah is one of the few pro players that posts here regularly & she is very well liked both on here with the fans (customers of those sponsoring her) and by the players themselves. Someone well liked and active amongst the players and fans is not something that just any player can offer a sponsor. Those are priceless attributes to sponsors due to the limited number of people they have to choose from that have those attributes.

Kudos to Ms Rousey for being a really cool young lady and kudos to pool dawg for seeing what the rest of us already knew. :thumbup:

Eric, that is how many Pesos you can buy the town for...er...I mean the population! I need to get another picture across the street that says Normal, 72,000. I was just being kinda lazy and didn't want to cross the couple busy streets. Plus, poor Frank had to walk with me from my house, to the grocery store and back already. That's right, joke all you want...I live 2 blocks from Normal. haha.

That's funny, 2 blocks, and yet I've heard you were FAR from normal....:p ;)

Kidding of course. Congrats on the new sponsor, and hope I get to see you play some again (DCC, maybe?). :thumbup:
