Does anyone know what time the webcast on the predator website starts on wednesday.
 
This is a good guess, but I hope that someone comes on with the real skinny. When the event in Portugal was going on we went on-air at 11AM. That would be around 5PM eastern time. Understandably, if the players meeting runs long the first day may not begin exactly on time.

Thanks for the Avatar from your and Pat's friends here in Rochester. We won't forget him.

Do you know anything about the event in Spain? Mike Sigel is leaving today to play in it. Thought it was qualifiers only. Perhaps I'm incorrect. Pool room will sure be quiet for a while. His constant self critiques and short stories might be missed. Hope to see you this weekend.

No, I am not doing the streaming this time. They are using Christine De La Garza instead. For some reason they think she is prettier than me. I know, I can't figure it out either. :) Christine did a great job in Vegas for Matchroom at the Mosconi Cup and I am certain she will do a bang-up job in Spain. I look forward to watching the stream.

For any who wants to know , NY est. is 6 hrs behind Spain. So if the event starts at 10am in Spain it will be 4am in New York. Set your clocks !

Ralf already had made an appointment to do an exhibition and clinic on these dates so he could not attend Predator-Spain.

The british players won't be there as their flight to spain was cancelled because of adverse weather conditions.

This is kind of exciting, Brendan Crockett is playing.

I don't know how well known he is nationwide, but Brendan Crockett has been featured in the local newspapers out here in LA and is Junior national Champion 2009. He's 14 now, a well heeled young man who plays at Sal Butera's place in Moorpark. Sal works with him a lot. His school, Oaks Christian in Thousand Oaks, is an exclusive private school and home to a number of celebrity children (Joe Montana, Wayne Gretsky, Will Smith).

This is a young player to keep an eye on if he sticks with the game.

I have seen some video where he is playing and i don't think he is that good.. I mean he is good for his age, but not impressive, for example Ronnie o' sullivan made his first century break ( at snooker clearly)at only 10 years and 147 at 14..

Brendan plays very well. He is certainly lucky to have parents that are as supportive of his interests as they are.

He is a good kid to boot!

IMO, other than being a little on the shy side, there are no knocks to this kid.

What has Brendan done to you? No reason to compare him to probably the greatest talent snooker has ever seen. Shit, why not compare him to Efren while your at it??? Its people like you why I still keep playing this game. I like to call them "haters." Just people who like to run their opinions behind a keyboard. If you like we can play some... Show the kid some respect. I dont care how much money you have, its not easy to travel 18 hours, play with the worlds greatest players. And sometimes get your ass handed to you. In my opinion, that takes a lot of guts. My hats off to Brendan or any other young kid that tries thier best and isnt afraid to step up to the plate...

A piece of advice to all you aspiring players. Dont let ANYONE tell you what you can, cant or shouldnt do in life. Listen to those who care for you. (Parents, close friends) Ignore folks who just like to talk shit.

Take it as you will.
