PROG8R please lose the annoying signature

i have trouble scrolling past your posts because of that picture of the guy getting punched in the gut. it slows down and jerks through it very slowly.
it annoys the poop out of me. i am not trying to be a jerk myself and if anyone else is having this problematic reaction let it be known please.

so have a nice day and choose something else to post in your signature

I've never experienced the slow jerk myself. I go fast.
 
I guess my connection or my computer is faster because that particular sig doesn't affect me.

I do find very wide sigs like Lennys to be annoying because I have to scroll from side to side to read the posts in any thread that he posts in.

FWIW - because I know someone will suggest it - turning off signatures won't correct the issue because half the time I surf without signing in due to time constraints. Turning off sigs won't affect the times you're browsing while not signed in.

You can always 'turn off' the forum's 'signatures', 'avatars' and even picture attachments in your 'User CP' tab at the top of the forum page.

Just click on it, and then select EDIT Options and about half way down, you just UN CHECK the 'signature' and/or 'avatars' and or 'picture attachments.

If you have less than HIGH speed for your internet connection, turning these option OFF will actually let the forums load much faster.

IT IS YOUR CHOICE and you don't have to ask anyone to belly up to your tastes. :D

Like someone said before, turning off sigs won't affect the times you're browsing while not signed in.

I guess there are a lot of LURKERS that are not logged in...
But, if you don't want to see the SIGNATURES and are capable of logging into the forums, you can easily set your options to IGNORE ALL SIGNATURES everytime you login.

There is a choice here... and it is easier than pleading with someone to remove or change a signature because you don't like it.

Kinda like surfing channels on the TV... you don't have to watch what offends you... just skip it.

Plus, the 'zilla' poster tends to make it all about what they like or dislike.

Those two and many more are on my Ignore list, so I never have to see them ...

Its perfect. Thank you for not only resizing the pic but also for being a mature gentleman about the situation. Most as you've seen have taken a defensive approach and basically said "deal with it".

What some folks don't understand is that when something slows you or your computer down while browsing the forum, it can make for a less enjoyable experience.

Thank you for your maturity, rep to you. :thumbup:
