I did not want to reply, but for the first time in my life my opinion is
wanted (according to the thread title).
Here's my opinion: Don't make a trade "deal" unless you enjoy drama.
You see, what you have here is two people both trying to come out as
winners. Wouldn't that just be a perfect slice of humanity pie?!
Unfortunately we live on planet Earth and it doesn't always work out
that way.
I have never traded, and I have never had a problem. That's no
coincidence. I never even imagined the theory of trading pool cues
until I visited these forums, and I still think it is crazy to trade
something with someone you don't even know. Only good friends
are reliable and trustworthy enough to make a trade with, and even
then you risk losing a friendship over a stupid cue.
Every time I see a thread like this I picture two hopeless felons in
a state penitentiary arguing about how many cigarettes they should
give up for a Snickers. I live on the outside. If I want cigarettes, I
buy cigarettes. If I want a Snickers, I buy a Snickers. If I want
something I can't afford, I sell something I already have so that I can
afford it. Or you can spend hours trying to finagle random strangers
online until you come out ahead, at the risk of unnecessary drama
and wasted time that you see here.
Good luck with all this. Quite frankly I wish you iTrader connoisseurs
had your own dedicated forum to argue about who screwed who.
Decide there which person should be lynched. I have honestly had
more interesting arguments with my girlfriend about who scratched
who's back the longest.

trading surely isn't that big of a deal? youre entitle to your opinion so if its that big to you then it is , so be it. but its gotten veeery popular w/ the dollar being so weak lately and people being down on their luck we've gone back to what got this country to where its at which is the bartering/trade system. for every bad trade deal theres probably at least 15 or so good ones on here. its as simple as seeing something you want more than what you have and trading up. its just like paying money for something. you can get screwed by paying for something just as easy. if someones not honest about the condition of what thye have , well that happens when they sell also. if both people are honest then its as easy as tic tac toe. if someones not honest, which I get it, a lot of people aren't, then they'll get whats coming to them. also trading you can get more than you paid for sometimes.
