Rest in peace, Grady.

Our pool family has lost a world class player, teacher, author, commentator, promoter, billiard room owner & irreplaceable personality.

Tentative plans are being made for services to be held on Saturday in Lexington, SC. When I get further details, I will pass them on.

My heart & thoughts are with all of Grady's many friends & family. I will miss you, my friend. RIP, Grady.

Goodbye Grady - my one and only professional "backer". Your brand of HEART will be hard to find in the modern pool world.

As I said in the other thread you have mentored me in more ways than you knew of. You were a pool idol of mine and will always remain so. As long as I live I am certain that there will be plenty of opportunities in pool to share a Grady story as there are Grady stories for every occasion in pool.

Bet High and Kiss Low Baby!!! You were and always will be an original.

Your fan and friend,

John

I can't say anything that hasn't already been said. It's a loss most of all to his family, but also one to all of us. All I can do is hope you get through it quickly Marie.

Grady will go in history as one of a few best all around players that ever lived!GOD has him now,oh what a MAN!

R.i.p.

The heart of a lion and bet his own.Not many great players can say that.I remembered Billy challanged Grady about 15 or 20 years in Washington Grady didn't duck they played 2500.00 a set one pocket ,Grady won the first set and Billy won the second set, Great match and both guys bet their own. Thanks Mary K. for posting a beautiful picture of Grady. My condolences to his friends and family.A TRU LEGEND and will be missed by thousands.
