Unbelievable. Too many people don't treasure life and take too much for granted. Never know what the new day will bring. Something like this is really a wake up call.

This news shocks so many people who enjoyed Doug's spirit, personality and smile. My prayers for his wife & family--they must be devistated with grief, Paul Del Giudice.

Never had the honor of meeting Doug face to face but the few online exchanges we had were more than enough to tell that he was an honest person with the highest level of integrity....sad day :-(

My thoughts are for his family that he leaves behind

Doug, brought a radiance into a room when he entered & always brought a warmth, even if he visited my booth for 2 minutes only, i will never forget his honesty, integrity, but mostly his SMILE, early on before i learned who Doug Baltrip was, i used to see him as the hansome young man, whose radiance filled the room, with the biggest smile ever. i will miss the SMILE the most Doug & myself done a trade @ WCCS 2 weeks ago. with regret our last. never got to tell him, but LOVED the MAN & his Spirit, these qualities come from within. Brandi, don't know if you play pool, like pool, but do know you supported Doug 100%, my wife supports me, the same way 100%, even though to her its all just fancy pieces of wood, because of our love for each other. Brandi, if your ever @ a pool event, stop by my booth, for 1 minute to see that radiant smile & warmth you have, as i will get to see him, in your smile, once again. respectfully, don sherman aka Sure Man Cues... i'll miss the MAN
 
Super sad news. you never know what the next day will bring. cherish family and friends and forgot the squabbles.
 
This is very shocking for me, I had one my first dealings on az with Doug, he was always a gentleman. Always had top of the line things on offer, RIP and just hope your family have the courage to go through this because it is surely not easy:(:(:(

RIP DWBOD Got a chance to talk with Doug once at our West coast cue show few year back with his wife. Great guy to deal with and he will be misse in AZ family and Condolences to the family
