Ripped off by Realkingcobra anyone?

There are some extenuating circumstances here that Glen is not willing to discuss publicly. And neither am I. He is a great guy and damn good table mechanic, but let's just say he doesn't manage money well and leave it at that.

I think he realizes that he needs to straighten this situation out asap. And I think that will happen soon. How soon I couldn't say. I really like Glen and wish he wouldn't have gotten himself in this fix. All the explanations in the world won't cure it now.

We all have our failings and so does Glen. I hope this is a good lesson to him that the world is watching. Our integrity and good word is all we have.

I just hope the Doctor is as VOCAL when he gets his money! I am sure he will and this issue reasonably worked out.

I just think this whole thread is WAY TOO EMOTIONAL for RealKingCobra based on his last response!

He is obviously passionate about his work and business!!!!!!

Excellent post Jay (and thank you for the kind words to me too). I have a feeling the Real KingCobra will make a comeback - bigtime and soon.

I guess most of you that post all the negative comments can't read, I said I owe DR the money, and I'm paying him asap, and NOT because of you, but because "I" owe it to him...not any of you! For those of you that insist on HOW I should pay, or want my blood, or think I'm some kind of GOD of mechanics....you can stick it where the sun don't shine....I'm responsible for MY life....not ANY of you! I've never once implied that I wasn't going to pay DR for the table, and as I've said already, some things have happened that has delayed my paying DR the money, but they're getting straightened out right now...once again, not because of ANY one of you here on AZB...but because of ME! See, I have to live with myself and my actions....and therefore I answer to what I do, and not because ANY of YOU want me to.

You want to throw in Ernesto into this conversation, fine....find ONE single post where I said Ernesto was a bad mechanic. You want to throw in Diamond and a truck, how in the hell do you think I live on the road continuing to deliver tables everywhere....and WHO benefit's from that..."Living on the road"?

Yes, I screwed up and underestimated some income coming in and got caught short, so I've been playing catch up....I screwed up, BUT I haven't "Ripped" off anyone, and wouldn't!

Search through ALL the threads on AZB and see if you can find ANY thread in which ANY one else has been unhappy with ANY of my service...if you can!

Don't miss understand me when I tell you I don't care if you DON"T want to call me to come and work on your pool table....when you have THAT kind of attitude WHY should I care, so that what....I'll loose some sleep because you're NOT going to call me? If you're THAT shallow to think that YOUR pool table is more IMPORTANT than ANYONE elses...you've really got problems, because I don't have to beg for work, and wouldn't beg ANYONE to be able to work on their pool table, and as one poster all ready pointed out...I turn DOWN more work than I ever do...because I just don't have the extra time, but I do work on tables that I get to know the owner of...and LIKE! So it's not about the money, its about the person wanting me to come and FIX a pool table that they REALLY care about! When someone is more interested in how MUCH I charge to do this or that, I tell them I'm to busy and pass on the work! When someone has been screwed over by another mechanic, or DON"T want to get screwed over, then I'm interested in doing what I can, WHEN I can!

But once again, if you people are looking for my blood on a stake because of this post, then you're going to be waiting a very long time. I'm not perfect, and don't feel that ANY one is, but I'm sure glad I'm NOT any of YOU!

I was simply saying your the best at what you do for a reason and people that want the best work on their table should consider the best mechanic. Not judge on 1 bad transaction. but look at all the good transaction posted on here!

You obviously have NOT read the entire thread, including just the few posts that proceeded your own.

Rkc took 100% of the blame, saying he screwed up and that he was wrong. He failed to explain why, but nevertheless vindicated the Dr and his original post.

All that is left to see now is how expeditiously rkc pays the man his money.

Please don't imply the dr shares any fault here.....

I guess you just don't get what anyone has been telling you. If you would have just told the OP "Hey sorry about all this... I'm going to take care of you right away" You would have got nothing but positive compliments on the way you handled it. Yeah, people are going to say that was wrong to begin with, but they're going to see you owning up to it and trying to resolve it right away.

You took a very surprising route and look what that got you. Your attitude of it's no big deal, I'll take care of you, what the hell are you doing bringing it up in a forum approach, really alienated everyone from giving you the benefit of the doubt. Then to top it off, you tell everyone you could care less about any business they might have given you with your screw you attitude... It's not surprising at all what happened here.

This whole thread is a big waste of time, if you don't take anything away from it, on a better way to handle something like this next time.

I believe society has really taken a turn for the worse, regarding the way the customer is treated, that's the only reason I am replying to this thread.

Good luck to both of you on getting it resolved and putting it all behind you.

On the contrary, I have read every post and have yet to see anyone else claim to be ripped off by RKC.
Now then that is the title of the thread isn't it?

My post was rather simple and I don't recall asking for an explanation but since you felt the need to

Not my business... but will say that my experience with Glen RKC has been great and I consider him a friend.
