Shoot out at the Helfert crib

All around-too cool.

Jay-were those 'two hand set shots', or the Bob Cousey 'over-the head-two hand flip/push' shots. Asked by a former 1-3-1 wing shooter.

I think it so funny that all these types of situations SHOULD be streamed

You're a lucky dude Jay. I would love to have been at your place sweating this action!!!

Question for you... What did they both say about the Slug Doctor on your table?? I bet they loved it and wished that it was used everywhere :D

Hay Hay Jay!!

So... What're we gonna do if my job happens to bring me toy uor area..

Can I hear a 9-7, huzzah, huzzah!?!?

Russ

Jay,
You're nothing more than a person who enjoys ad homimen attacks. These photos and this thread are examples of your mean-spirited, needle-like posting. Please send more.

We have a match to do. Don't forget...... I don't care about the streaming one way or the other. I just want to get your dough.

Ok to answer some questions, we don't really have room here for streaming and I felt this should be a private match. Both players liked it this way as well. Plus no table time and free food! Hard to beat that.

I only have room here for a few people to watch, that's why there were only four or five people in attendance. If I had more room I would invite a few of my L.A. area friends. Sorry guys.

They played again today, a rematch and Dennis won this time 4-3. Took about three hours and more good pool by both players, but what else would you expect. Most of the time today it was only me watching. I was babysitting my two grand kids (8 and 11) so they kept me busy. After the set, Shane took off on a date and Dennis and Ramon are going to Manny Paquiao's house later. Maybe I will go along, but I'm not sure yet.

P.S. We were all shooting one handed push shots from 25 feet. I got hot for a second or two. And as for you Russ, NO CHANCE! You play me even like everyone else. Joey you sure are confident, that makes me scared. But I can be scared and still play. ;)

Very nice, Jay. I just told Buddy Hall who you had over to your house, he laughed and said he knows you good. I thank you for sharing with us. Where was Big Truck, Jay? I am still waiting on the live stream.
Many Regards,
Lock N load.

Surprised you got to eat with Drake Bell along...

Mobbed by teenaged girls...

A lot of trouble coming if Dennis decides to take one hole seriously.

I think he first played one pocket only a couple a weeks ago at HOB Santa Monica.:D He'll catch on quick though. It is an essential game to know to get enough action in the USA and Dennis definitely likes action.

So, they conspired to hustle you out of a hundred bucks?

Yep, I guess so . I'll tell you this, they played HARD for this "small" bet! Both players wanted to win, as much to prove who was best as anything else. There is something magical that happens when you get two great players on the table together. They get down in the dirt and fight to win! I love it when that happens. Believe me when I tell you it was a SHOOTOUT! I didn't mind forking over a hundred to watch it.

Even my grand kids were paying attention, knowing this was a special match. My eleven year old grandson is a premier athlete for his age, excelling at surfing, skate boarding, basketball, baseball and soccer. I don't think he realizes how good he is for his age, he just likes to play all sports. But he paid rapt attention to the match while he was here, aware that he was watching two great athletes compete.

It was late at night and very few people there. A couple of the waitresses recognized him I think but they left him alone. He was surrounded at the table by three guys too!

My grand daughter was very upset today that he was at my house and she didn't get to see him.

And NOT one word about the Hot Tub, hummmmmm.............whats up with that :).
