Frank, he reminds me of Efren at the beginning. We all know how that turned out.
From a Bislig fisherman to world class pool player.... what a life !!!

Ok to answer some questions, we don't really have room here for streaming and I felt this should be a private match. Both players liked it this way as well. Plus no table time and free food! Hard to beat that.
I only have room here for a few people to watch, that's why there were only four or five people in attendance. If I had more room I would invite a few of my L.A. area friends. Sorry guys.
They played again today, a rematch and Dennis won this time 4-3. Took about three hours and more good pool by both players, but what else would you expect. Most of the time today it was only me watching. I was babysitting my two grand kids (8 and 11) so they kept me busy. After the set, Shane took off on a date and Dennis and Ramon are going to Manny Paquiao's house later. Maybe I will go along, but I'm not sure yet.
P.S. We were all shooting one handed push shots from 25 feet. I got hot for a second or two. And as for you Russ, NO CHANCE! You play me even like everyone else. Joey you sure are confident, that makes me scared. But I can be scared and still play.![]()

A lot of trouble coming if Dennis decides to take one hole seriously.
Jay,
We love your stories and I love your stories.
I've been trying to scare you with some false bravado on my part and I see that it isn't working so I will just go ahead and stick my neck out.
(I know, I know)
I am tired of getting PMs from people telling me I am scared to play you. It gets old after a while even if it is from buds. Some of them actually believe it.
I am guessing that if this one pocket match is ever to take place it had better be soon. Tunica, MS is just around the corner time-wise.
July 20-28th.
Would you like to establish a date and time for our match as well as the stakes?
I should be able to make it to Tunica by the 22nd and will be available to play between the 22-29th. I will play a race of one pocket 4-6 games even-up for either $500 or $1,000. The sum makes no difference to me. You make the call. I would also like to establish a date for the match, hopefully the sooner the better.
I'm coming primarily to play in the tournament. If you don't want to play, say so, and I will be out of your hair.
I wanted to be fair and give you plenty of time to prepare for our match. I didn't want to just sneak up on you at the tournament and announce that i was ready to play. But please don't ask Van Boening or Orcollo for any pool lessons in the meantime.![]()
You've got a game, see you in Tunica. Race to Five for 500. Don't be late!
I would like to sweat this match. If anyone wants the action I will bet on JoeyA. $25-250.
I'll take Jay for $100  PM sent

Fair enough. I know you've been laying it down for a long time. It doesn't matter. I'm glad we're going to play. I wanted to give you plenty of time to get in stroke and I know I'll have my work cut out for me.
At the U.S. Open when we played, what did I win, like ONE game ahead.....That's nothing and you and I both know that you were playing with a "bamboo piece of s**t" and hadn't practiced in months... It's cool. I know we can both afford to lose a few hundred. It will be fun.
Why don't you get some talent around you? Hanging with shortstops like Shane and Dennis can give you a bad reputation.
You are the man, for certain.
Keep it nice. Alfie
