Still need a stick....

I beg to differ with the last few posters!

I have dealt with Rat on this forum for several years and have sold him a LOT of cues during that time. He has always been a stand up member of this forum who looks for a good value and has been through enough cues to know what he likes. No one is putting a gun to your heads to make you sell him a cue.

He has been here a lot longer than most or all of the people that have expressed their concern, and has a lot of great feedback from others on the transactions he has done in the past.

There is no bumping rule I'm aware of for a guy that wants to BUY something off this forum. If I had a cue to sell that met his criteria, I wouldn't care for someone trying to run off potential business.

Give the hall monitor stuff a rest. Nobody voted for you and you are being really petty for grownups. The Admins are quite capable of doing their job...

Steve

I'll second that for Rat,he is one of the most stand up individuals here,if all buyers and sellers were like him there would not so many drama threads about bad transactions and being ripped off!I've done deals with him and he's solid gold in my book.

My opinion is: This type post doesn't belong here. If he wanted cue to play with he could easily buy one. Seeing this type post getting bumped is a waste of peoples time. Everyone wants a $500 cue for $50. Or a $1500. cue for $600.
Wake up AZers He is just fishing to take advantage of a sucker. Why keep thinking you can sell him a cue at an honest deal and waste time bumping the add with pictures. The right cue is one he can make money with.

Clearly you don't know Mark at all. He's probably one of the most straight-up individuals on this forum.

Yep, they missed the mark entirely. Mark knows what he wants and when he sees it, he pulls the trigger. Straight forward, no b.s., his word is always good. His only flaws are that he doesn't fade foolery well and he doesn't like tulipwood. :grin-devilish:

I agree , I hate these type of threads also . He has had some outstanding cues offered , at reiculasly low prices , and he is still Fishing . Kinda Stupid .

So he turned down a cue from you and your butt hurt? Just because he asks for a cue, gives a budget, and desirable makes that is some how wrong? People have cues sitting around they may want to sell in his budget, and here is someone actively looking. I"d say He has probably brought more cues than most anyone here.

Welcome back Rat. Good to see you back here.

Don't sweat the drama bullshit. Its become the new norm.

It's an attention grab and that's all. Like the fat ugly woman at the bar who's been hanging out all night just to tell you you're "not her type" when you've finally had enough beer to talk to her.

YOU THREE are the problem with AZ Billiards. If you do not like his thread, move along OR report it to the mods. No need to make stupid posts.

A long time and VERY well-respected member WANTS TO BUY A POOL CUE!!!!!

He is NOT breaking any forum rules.

Good to see ya around Rat...

Happy Holidays!

Well said.

Green to you.

Exactly the point. Anyone who has bought a LOT of cues is obviously into the buying and selling of them. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. An honest and noble endeavor.

Coming on and acting like a kid looking to finally step up and buy his first nice player to go out and play APA league with is sort of tacky. Nothing to report to mods about, just kind of tacky.

Yet again, you show how little you really know about much of anything having to do with me or my hunt...and I'll be damned if I'm going to explain it to you. Bottom line, however ---- I USED to buy and sell a lot. Those days have passed. Like that should matter, one way or the other.

Couldn't care less about your opinion, and if you have nothing but dumb-ass comments to make...create your own thread and fill it with them. I'm certain there are a few folks that would be happy to tune in.

Hope Santa brings you some common sense and a plunger this year, sir.

Some stellar cues have been offered from some stellar people...and all offers were appreciated. In keeping with conventional wisdom, I'm gonna BUY one.

Trying to figure out how you are making that assumption...because I certainly did not interprete it that way.

Had any of you bothered to do a quick search of his activity here on AZB....ya might have had a clue who Mark really is. He has had some serious woodage go thru his hands. Never had a bad deal that I can recall, and is as honest and straightforward as they come.

He knows what to expect to spend on the secondary market for what he clearly outlined here, and he is pretty much on the mark.

What you should be doing is thanking him for his service to our country, and helping him achieve his goal.

The hunt is over, y'all.

I found the right cue for me...from a great guy who has been very helpful and patient while I sorted things out and weighed my options.

Thanks to all who helped along the way, offered support when the village idiots raised up in misguided revolt, and to those who made wonderful offers on some great player's cues.

Kickin' Chicken - PM sent (and text msg, too). Let's seal this up, sir!!
