To Mark Griffin- Mosconi Cup Candidates

Please.....

Justin Bergman has conducted himself with dignity and courtesy since he arrived here in New York. He has also distinguished himself through his play, with a win over John Schmidt in the 14.1 event.

I'd be proud to have Justin Bergman represent the US in December.

Cleary might have worn a Lime Green Banana hammock and a Hustlin USA Tee.

Crap, I shouldn't give him any ideas.

Damn, now I have to go put soap in my eyes.

I was there tonight. Yes he was wearing a hoodie. He looked better in his hoodie than half of them in their ill fitted vests. It's not what you wear sometimes, it's how you wear it.

Jim Rempe was wearing a Bugs Bunny tie.

That's all.

I just finished this thread. Good day.

what he said.... he is a player and from what I've seen and heard he is nothing but class. He is well deserving to play for the mosconi cup and I'll be rooting for him every time he shoots !

Well said my friend glad everyone felt the same as I did lol :grin-square:

When did pool players become such cry babies? Nothing but constantly complaining. I'm sure Mark is going to read this thread and not play Bergman at mosconi because he wore a hoodie. Thank God you out this thread up...

Mark Wilson might never have a reason to open this thread... except he wants to keep up on Mark Griffiin.

I understand that the wrong Mark was noted, but I do agree with the OP on his thoughts.

It isn't an either you get a great player or one that dresses well, it is a simple enough that ANYONE should be able to do BOTH.

Show some respect and show some class.

We need to do it better than everyone else.

From the above posters, it reminds me of how the US society has changed. We make excuses, and hold nobody accountable.

JMO,

Ken

Before anyone rushes to judgement, did anyone ask Mark Griffin if he gave Justin Bergman permission to wear the hoodie?

Mark G, It's up to you to call Mark Wilson and tell him it's his turn in the barrel. :p. Johnnyt

Some people can whine about anything. Pretty pitiful reason to start a thread. IMHO

Doesn't matter what he wore to HOF dinner. Pool players will never dress like other sports figures as pool will always be a shady sport thanks to some of our past Champs and the way they have damaged the sport through the years. Wearing nice clothes will not make people conduct their selves in appropriate manner. I had rather have a Mosconi Cup player wearing a hoodie and conducting himself with like a gentleman than having a nicely dressed pool player throwing matches and betting on his opponent. I have just about quit reading the AZ forum as there is so much negativity on just about every subject. There is no way to please everybody and might as well stop trying and especially on picks for the Mosconi Cup. Mark just needs to try and field the best team and he will always be second guessed.

Everyone needs to calm down. The guest of honor himself wasn't exactly taking it serious... he was wearing a Bugs Bunny tie.

This game and most of the people who play it are out of touch with reality yet they wonder why it never went anywhere. The problem is the man in the mirror... People like Justin Bergman are the future of this game. You can't find against the youth cause we're strong and rude people.

I hope you didn't steal that picture off of Facebook -- youi can be banned for that.
