I was never fortunate enough to meet Mike, but heard nothing but great things about him. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

This is very sad news. So talented and so young.
My prayers to him and his family.

Wow! I certainly did not expect to see this thread when I logged in today. What a sad thing to hear. I played in a couple of tournaments over the years where he was playing, although we never actually matched up. I did get to talk with him, and enjoyed the opportunity. He will be missed!

A great friend

I called Mike this week and asked him what he was doing, his reply was-- I'M MAKING ****ING SNOW ANGELS--. Mike I'm going to miss you a lot.

I'm in disbelief. What happened?

I received this email this morning from Mike's wife. I will miss him very much not only as a cuemaker but as a true friend.

Good Morning, I'm not sure exactly who I am emailing but I am going thru Mike's phone and email list. Mike had a massive heart attack and passed away early this morning.

If you have any questions, certainly feel free to call Mike's cell.

Thank you,

Connie Cochran

The cue world just lost another shining star and Mike's talents will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences to friends and family.

This is an extremely sad turn of events and completely out of the blue. I have a cue being made by Mike and Tim and he has been nothing but a pleasure to work with. Please let me know if his family needs anything. This is a huge loss to the billiard world.
