Apology accepted Tony, I really got to run now, a cue of mine is ready and I am eager to go get it. As for money I have never been broke/busted but I have never been rich either, I am comfortable and very well off in life with a great family and friends. I am not sweating getting paid that hard at all, wont make or break me but its more principle. Irks me to see him making games on here when he is not paid up.

Dippy, its all good with me, as I said it will not kill me. You did not watch the hit?, but after Chris called it good and Scott won the 3rd set you said "No, it was a bad hit.", Scott said it was and Chris called it and you said "I am not paying.". One day I will make a movie about this and include it in, save this post for your royalties, I wont stiff you. :wink:

When your forgotten he will still be remembered. He is still maturing as a player/person IMO and does have great respect to those who deserve it, not saying he is an angel, he has done his things too as most of us have in life. No one is 100% right all of the time but are you saying he had this coming?

Yeah-Is that what he is saying? He tends to muddle things and doesn't have a real good command of the English language. I think he admits to not paying and will not pay but Im not sure.
 
I have gone back and forth on who I think is right or wrong here soooo many times. This thread is epic and sad at the same time. In the end if the light is ever shed there will need to be some serious apologies.

i think dippy is strong arming people with his suckerness if i was him i would hire 3 big bodyguards sounds like he might need them in the direction hes going if he did stiff these people it is hard not to believe what lenny says
 
typical drama of typical vulture, lazy ass, stealin pool players....the first time they can't pull off there heist, they blame the guy who has been donating to there broke asses....shocker. DD...good luck findn any gamblers.

Ultimately, this kind of bs is gonna ruin any action with the man.

My thoughts on the situation

From reading every post by both parties...I come up with Dippy is saying Scott offered him a buy out on the debt & dippy agreed & paid Scott a lower sum in which Scott never disclosed this to his people....flip side...Scott is saying Dippy never paid a dime of 3rd set & dippy is welching on bet....usually the truth lies somewhere in the middle but with this one I guess only time will tell.
 
I will be happy to do a VSA test on both parties.

I think we all know that there isn't going to be a polygraph test given, but the VSA is a possibility and while neither the results are admissible and one community calls the other bogus science, there are people who believe in both.

My bad then...I came to that conclusion when You asked Lenny if he ever bet $400 or so & later paid off $100 deal....thx for clearing it up.
 
Regardless of Lenny's nickname, I seriously doubt he's trying to pull a fast one here. He has a great reputation, and whether he ends up being right or wrong, I'm certain that he has nothing but honest intentions.

As for Dave, I've seen him pay his debts personally. Until the Scott incident, I've never heard of him firing an air barrel.

Clearly there is more to this fiasco, not to mention the fact that we have not heard directly from Scott, Billy, or any witnesses. As such, anyone who draws a conclusion based on the info provided solely in this thread is downright foolish.
 
Looking at the big picture here I highly doubt Dave fired an air barrel at anyone. His livelihood is gambling so firing a supposed $4k air barrel generally costs more than $4k in the long haul and he probably knows that.

When I was there the week before, Dave was accepting all wagers against him that came from the rail. He had assigned a third party the job of collecting the money and holding the total wager.

In other words, Lenny was not required to speak with Dave personally in order to register his bet.

Now the real question is who Lenny placed his bet with. Was it with this third party, or was his money included in the main principle that was Scotts?

This is exactly why no one should be taking sides here. No one on this forum knows enough information to judge.
