What is the most beautiful pool table?

I was looking at websites of pool/billiard table restorers/sellers and I looked at all the tables. I thought the table called the Marquette was the most stunning table, and not over-the-top like some of the heavily inlaid tables. What do you think? I know someone with a Monarch and it does not play well but looks impressive.

I know

The one with Ewa Mataya Laurance (The Striking Viking), laying on top of it.

In all seriousness I have always liked the Brunswick Anniversary table. It is much simpler than the ornate tables but has always been one of my favorites.

i have seen just about every brunswick/olhausen table out there in person because i used to sell them! i personally like the gibson by brunswick. i also like the metro for something a little more modern looking.

i like the brunswick anniversary as well, but to buy one of these fully restored will cost you an arm and a leg! :)

What is the best song?

What is the stupidest question?

This is a pool related question on a pool related site so why do you think it is such a stupid question?

I like the Diamond Pro-Am's with Blue Simonis 860. A simple, classy look. And also I probably like it because they apparently play so well - if the thing plays very well then that's beauty in itself in my book!

That Marquette is magnifico to be sure. Right now, I still think the Kling is my favorite as well.

This is really a good playing table. I will try to post pictures of my Centennial in the next couple of days. I need to learn how to do it first.

My favorite table as well. I grew up playing on a 5' x 10', Centennial.

They are pure class from a by-gone era.

5 X 10 Brunswick Medalist

Just gorgeous to look at and just great to play on!!!

your favorite......

Yeah, I love the Kling as well, obviously as my member name is 2oldklings (I own 2 Klings.) I guess I would have to see them beside each other to decide. The anniversary, centennial types have the nice wide rails and are nice to play on, but I was asking about aesthetics.

... as they say... Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. :thumbup2:

What is the best___ is a fruitless pursuit. And now I posted 2x about it in one thread!
