I have some money and am sick of paying bills and never buying anything for myself, since I haven't spent my money on myself in a while and want to have some fun I decided I'm going to buy at least one thing.

So what would you buy that is UP to $900? If its only $100 thats cool too, just looking for suggestions.

So far the things I'd love to buy is some simmonis cloth for my table.. But the problem is since it has bad corners )room it's in is too small) and I only use it to practice runs, practicing cut shots, stuff like that I can't really justify purchasing that. I might just move the table at Christmas time and get the cloth as a present. We'll see.

So I thought what else could there be that I would enjoy and came up with either a Predator shaft for my adams bushka. I have two low end cues so I could get a new one but I think mine both hit just fine for me.

What would you buy right now if you had upto $900 to blow on stuff you've wanted? Just looking for ideas and to see what other people's dream list/interests are right now

You could buy a new whitten or other high quality case for your cues.

If you like a hard hitting longer taper low deflection cue I think Mike Gullyassy is making a hell of a cue at a good price right now. If you don't want fancy you can get a matching set with a break/jump cue for around $800-$900 and it's worth every penny. His J/B is the nuts!

A new schon. I love those things. or an andy gilbert J/b and then put myself in action with the rest.

Maybe...........a high-class hooker :eek::grin::grin::grin:???

Seriously, I'd probably re-cover my table with a high-end cloth, something about medium-fast.

Yeah but I was planning on recovering it at Christmas.

I think I'm going to purchase the measels QB and get a predator shaft.

Which do you suggest out of all the low deflection shafts, from Ob1 to OB2 to pred Z etc and why? Thanks!

I hear the Ob2 is better than the ob2 due to a stiffer hit and less deflection.

I do not know about the predator shafts.. however they seem to be preffered by most. I would like someone knowledgeable to chime in about the two diff predator shafts (not sure of the model names, Z and z2 maybe? and what the differences are and how they function vs eachother and vs OB1 and 2)

I would pick up a steal in the Classifieds on here, you can get some killer cues for under $1000 that retail for almost twice the price.

you have a cue, right? a table? means to get to the local poolhall? Pracgtice HARD with what you already have and SAVE your money - though the economy SEEMS to be getting a little better....I believe we haven't seen the worst of it.

There's a party pooper in every crowd!

I'd get me a custom Jack Justis "Lite" cue case. Maybe with my name or initials on it. 2x4 size, of course.:)

It depends. Does my wife know about the money? If so I would probably buy new windows for the house.

If not, then the fun starts. Maybe a pool cue although I'm happy with my Schon.

I would spend $800 on a flat screen TV and $100 on some real good Bourbon.
I drink a bit.:thud:

Since it hasn't been said yet. Why not get a lesson from a great instructor with some of the money. Then go and practice what you learned.

While all the other suggestions are great they will not really help your game the way a great lesson would.

Either a new trolling motor for my boat, or a hummingbird side image for the boat. Might buy 3 new G-Loomis Rods and shimano citica reels for them and some baits.

Pool related I'd buy a used bluegrass

If my wife knows about the money I'd be getting a fence for the dogs

I love the lessons idea. Having said that, how about a new shaft ? That new Lambros shaft ? about 215 or so. Besides that, rub the buffalo off that money! Best of fortune with your cash.
regards,
tim

just bought a samsung 50" plasma for $700 at HHGreggs opening sale. believe me for that money you got a lot of tv equivalent to those @ $14/15 hundred. i've been looking and comparing for 18months (thats right, crazy huh) and when this came by i couldnt get my money out fast enough. model number pn 50b450b. or buy the most excellent cloth now while you have the money. put it aside till your ready to move the table and reset it up.
