Yes....I did....and back then I also told everyone "if Shane's getting laid, you won't get paid" and trust me, back then....Shane couldn't win anything....LOL
 
I think we need a new sub-forum about the personal lives of pool players. Realkingcobra can be the moderator.

I have heard this and it makes me respect him more.

Most pool players end up broke. But also alot of professional football players, baseball players etc.

Shane keeps his personal life private, and as long as he does I think it's not suitable for public speculation.

For the record, she turned 18 in march. If they're dating, it's a bit surprising.. but she seems mature and both of them strike me as nice people. It'd probably be a bit scandalous in some other sports (imagine golf)... but in the pool world, I can't imagine anyone raising an eyebrow.

I swear pool damn near made me become completely asexual, once I got addicted to putting pool balls in holes I lost interest in putting anything else into any other type of hole... one was for pleasure and one was obsession. Luckily I met a girl with the same obsession.


But if pool wanted a major visibility boost, I say Shane should become Shauna and cause a big publicity stir about wanting to play in the women's bracket... now THAT would get a few thousand new viewers and sponsors, gender battles are all en vogue these days.

What SVB does in his spare time (my guess is he plays pool) is none of my business.
What makes me laugh is Helfert's red face and his torches and pitchfork approach to it all.
And yes, Johnny. Stuff like this is better left to Hollywood On Parade, Teen Beat, and Zits And Freckles Magazine. :p

P.S. Anybody wanna know how to put a tip on a cue?
