Who is the top player in your state?

Not sure really....I talked to Gabe two weeks ago in Reno and he said he is living in Greenville. I saw a mailing address for Shannon Daulton and I thought I remember it being in SC as well, probably in the same area.

Even though it’s not really my state, everyone that I have talked to that knows swears Williebetmore is the all time undisputed champ in the state of denial.

breakup,
"De-Nile" is a river in Egypt, NOT Indiana.

Indiana's best is George Breedlove (Brian Groce a close second).

For Illinois: When in country, Marco Marquez. When not, toss up between Jesse Bowman and Mike Bandy/John Zaksas. (Assuming we are talking all around best player.) My .02.

In Washington I would have to say that former world champion Dan Louie might be our best. Really not sure though.
He still hits 'em square, but I would have to say he's not seasoned right now. Don't get me wrong..Danny is a good friend of mine, and can still play lights out, but guys like Glen and others are playing a lot more and could grind out longer sessions. Danny did put a hurtin' on Shane Van Boening in Reno though.

In Michigan i would have to second the vote for Kirkwood. But Adam Smith plays very sporty these days.

Me too, Ghost. It was an inside joke.

re: Louisiana

Jamie Farrell.

I will bet him in banks against the best player in ANY state for that matter and I will win.

After that, we still have so many champions in New Orleans it's sick.

I always feel like a greenhorn when i play around here. But when i go to your town I'm a champ, go figure.

P.S. just messin' with ya so don't freak out.

Want to play some 1Pocket?

in maryland to dc and virginia I would say its

1. jerry slivka
2. is ME

Apparently you didn't see Matt Clatterbuck give some strong player the 7 and the breaks 7 ahead for $500, win, then give BJ Ussery the 8 in the same game, win, then after all that in the same night played slivka even 7 ahead for a thousand I think it was, and win pretty convincingly. This was in Hagerstown, MD last month.

Open invitation to come and play Danny Harriman some banks.

I dont' even know if there's a pool table within a 100 Kilometers of Nakhon Si. On a somewhat (i.e. completely) unrelated story. I beat a couple of pretty decent Australians in a bar called Gullivers in Bangkok. It's down on Khao San Road if anyone ventures that way.

On a completely different note: Ask Danny about the first time he met Jamie. He'll laugh remembering about it. I believe it was during a road trip Danny took with a buddy of his from Springfield. Quite an adventure if I remember correctly.

KUH POW!!!!!!
