Who is this Russian player

I know for a fact that there are not 42 players better than him in 10 ball. I highly doubt 5 or 10 would even play him.

I'm not going to bust his action, but I will just say as an observer, his money game is to be feared.

"It isn't that you think you can win. He makes you believe you can win, when you really had no chance of winning. Then his gear kicks in."

that I am hearing about?
someone said he beat shane and they think he can beat everyone

He invited Shane to Russia to play in a long 10ball race and won. When Shane got there they told him you were not allowed to break from the box, had to be from close to the side rail. They said they told Shane this prior to arriving.

Ruslan plays great and won the match. Very good player.

He beat Oscar by the margin he was expected to beat Oscar.

Maybe if he traveled to Louisiana vis St Louis he would find somebody to play?

I thought maybe it was Zam Figor, from the "identify this autograph" thread, but that's not him

No. I am pretty sure this is definitely maybe the Russian, ruslan. Zam is Serbian.

I just tried to Google a pic of Zam Figor, but I could not find one.

A lotta people are going to be real sad, after they lose to Zam Figor.

My friends say that negotiations have been discussed with Justin Bergman. A possible mega match. Trying to get the terms and " Neutral" location worked out is last I heard. They certainly ain't scared

I've been watching his 14.1 videos for some time. In the pre-internet days he could have toured the country unknown making a ton of money but with youtube that's no longer possible.

Fargo North Dakota

--Same time zone as St. Louis
--Same climate as Moscow

--pretty neutral I'd say.

It’s kinda like the race track, KD
You don’t want to bet on a horse moving down in company...
...so if two Fargoratings are close, I’ll bet on the player who just moved up.

No doubt he's a very good player. Having said that, if there were a rematch with Shane, playing 10 ball, my window is wide open on SVB.

Chinahkov has been at this for a long time. I remember the tall and lanky 17 year old kid when he first arrived on these shores. He had game, but he wasn't quite ready for prime time yet. He appeared uneasy under pressure and unable to win against the good players. To his credit he persevered through some long years of acquiring the skills required to be a winning player. He has finally emerged as a mature young man who is ready to challenge the entire pool universe.

well he is part of Roys basement team now and he's been sparing with Diamond , DO Warren and a few other monster players in his basement they spent a lot of time on his break that showed up in the Oscar match , plus going out locally here with the team giving up big spots and fading it ,,

Indianapolis would be a good spot for this potentially. The Midwest bar table is coming up next month. Tournament could be lucrative for both players with an expanded field and big calcutta in the new venue. The new place has 2 Diamond Pro Ams that could be used to match up in addition to all of the 7ft Diamonds.

I like Shane too, especially if you let them break from anywhere. I think if Shane would have had proper notice, he would have won that match even without his normal 10ball break.

They said they told him prior to the trip that breaking from the box is not allowed. He seemed surprised is my understanding and already made the trip when he found out.

He just smoked everybody at the Virginia State 10 Ball championship, beat a lot of STRONG players, beat Warren Kiamco twice. That was after flying over from his money match with Oscar the day before. Real nice guy, too.
