In the 80's and the early 90's Ohio was the place to be for pool. It was a gateway to the east and west. Sadly, It dwindled to a mute point around the mid 90's and its still that way today, just like alot of places around the country....when we were young.....

I am one of those guys who thinks Ohioans hve made tremendous contributions to our sport. Amazingly so.
My op was a tongue in cheek attempt to draw out some of our az members thoughts on why they feel Ohio's sons and daughters have made, arguably, more contributions to pool, per capita, than any other state.
So you see, I was actually honoring Ohio with this thread.
