All the talk about some of us wanting women playing in the US Open 9 Ball Championship got me to thinking about something else; how women dress at pool tournaments.
First off, let their be no mistake, I LOVE to look at a nice looking woman and if she is a little hot that just pleases me even more. Even though I am happily married it doesn't change that the fact that I appreciate an attractively dressed woman.
But what I'm talking about here is the distraction that a REALLY HOT LOOKING GAL can bring to the table. You know what I'm talking about.....
Like the low-cut blouse with the cleavage showing, the short blouses, you know the ones where they show a little "belly" skin and what about the short skirts or short dresses showing some "extra" leg or more. Don't even talk about those long elegant dresses with the slit up the sides.....
I'm a little embarassed to admit that the way a woman dresses when she plays pool can affect my performance at the table. Shoot... if a really hot dressed chick is playing pool a couple of tables away, I have to fight myself to pay attention to what's happening at my table.
I know that a lot of you T & A guys would like to throw some rotten tomatoes at me about right now but I would want to see the women have a dress code that prevents them from providing these type of distractions.
I admire a woman who dresses up real nice but when she pulls out those extra tools in a pool match I want to kick myself in the head for being so weak that those extra tools distract me from concentrating on my game.
I guess I am admiting that I can be distracted by a scantily dressed woman.
Yes, I'm weak. I admit it but now I want to know what some of you think.
Does anyone think that a woman should be required to cover up some of that skin if they are competing in a pool tournament?
Do you think that women should have a particular dress code in pool tournaments?
Does anyone else get distracted like me or am I alone in this?
Do you think the extra attraction is worth the price of distraction?
All righty then, pull out your big guns. My foxhole is deep and I'm wearing my helmet. :duck:
uttahere:
I'd love to know what the ladies thing as well so don't be shy about chiming in.
Thanks,
JoeyA
