Hard to Find the Center of the Cue Ball

the big thing about hitting the centerline. is that when off a tiny bit as we all end up doing to some extent is that you only put a tiny amount of side spin on the cueball. so little variation in the cueball path and almost no variation in object ball path. to be seen.

but when using a touch of anything if you go a little more you enter into the range where english gets more pronounced as you go farther out and squirt and other things take effect on your shot. so the penalty is greater for a mistake.

players that have a straight stroke and very accurate with it, wont deviate much at all so can easily put that tiny bit of english on most shots and get away with it.

Masters Chalk glazing over?

It does seem to happen often. Masters is cheap so I can switch out whenever.

My guess is that the Pechauer C4 break tips just slight softer than phenolic tips and this perhaps compresses and hardens the chalk when I apply.

Other than that, I am in Pacific Northwest so I am sure it is cold and there is a lot of moisture compared to some regions.
Then i would toss it,try another one. I use taom break tips which, like yours its softer than phenolic.
I would also try triangle chalk. You Might fair slightly better😀

Dominguez vs Guama race to 50 for 80+ per side

Sounds like Oscar played better, won and was paid in full. So if the net effect is just that Guama’s side think its irregular and undesirable for Oscar to show up with tools, make modifications to a table he doesn’t own, and not directly inform his opponent of doing so… I think they have good standing to make that complaint. I’d find it very weird if my opponent did that, even if I was playing Jesus (which isn’t far off from Oscar).

Predaidr vs predator cues

No definitely not. The Preoaidr cues are completely knock offs with paint and decals. The factory that makes Predator cues makes enough money not to dabble with knock-offs and jeopardise their relationship with Predator.
They’re clearly not on the same level as Predator, but to cite using paint and stickers as a differentiator between the two brands is kind of funny considering Predator uses both in their cues.

DAVID ELLIOT CUE CHRIS NITTI SHOP

Is there a weight bolt in the butt that's bringing it up to 16os? Any way to contact Dave or the original owner to actually learn the wood variety? How about the type of leather it's wrapped in?
There is a weight bolt in the butt. Does not look removable. Not sure how to contact Dave to verify wood type. See pic for weight bolt.
