Rotation & 9-Ball

A word of caution, rotation will improve your game in time, but it takes many years to master the basics, I only played the Philippine version. Its what i would call pools version of snooker. If you find someone to play, competitively against. Its a great game. A serious game. Loads of safety, and because the amount of balls on the table, loads of 2 and 1 Shots (meaning if you don't make the ball, the you get cover) the thing i like is, with all the safety, you can still be, very aggressive. One of the best games to play if you like, using caroms and combinations. Many call it 61, as many of said here, its not as popular as it once was. Back in 2007 there was an Exhibition match at derby city. you'll know them, when you see this.

My modest collection of Adam and others

4 Adam MAC-14. I recently found this one. For sure I paid too much, $300. I don't care. It looked interesting. It's actually a three-piece cue; the butt is in two pieces. Real inlays. Pretty narrow tip (around 12mm.) Can anyone verify the model per the MAC-14 sticker?
Cool cue. I'll see if I can dig up info on it.

It looks to be in excellent condition. The price is right if you like the cue.

And those cases are hard to find in good condition. They didn't wear well. And white? Pretty cool!

Thanks for showing off!

Schuler Question

Besides Schuler himself, Noel Mendoza, and Jacoby, do you know any other cue makers that make cues with the Schuler joint? I am not asking who will make a shaft for one, but what others might make cues with that joint.

I am especially asking about older cue makers, maybe 20, 30, 40, or even 50 years ago.

I have a cool cue I took a chance and picked up cheap ($65) on Ebay a few years ago. It's in storage, and I never took detailed pictures, just put it away and forgot about it. It has the Schuler joint, but not the weight system. When I get it out at some point I will get detailed pictures. I am theorizing it could be a very early Schuler cue, or perhaps made by someone that worked in his shop, or some other.

I have not yet contacted Mendoza. I will when I get the cue out again. I was just curious what knowledge might be floating around about what makers have used this joint.

Chopdoc.. Check this old 2009 post https://forums.azbilliards.com/threads/f-s-another-crappy-closet-butt-65-00.162579/#post-2100885 I still don't know the Maker!!

Another cue ID.

Definitely not Viming. Asian. Most likely Adam but possibly KaoKao made. I'll go through my files later and see if I have the exact model and/or how it might have been branded, unless someone else nails it down first.

I have seen this model before for sure, so hopefully I saved a record of it.

2025 AZB Ghost Challenge - Official Thread

General rules I’ve seen are like 800+ world class player, 700+ pro or top amateur, 600+ strong regional player 500+ good league player 400+ average league player 300+ novice player and below that is like non-serious beginners. It’s interesting we are trying to do our own experiment to try to estimate ghost Fargo. From what I can tell, if you are a favorite or a break-even player against the ghost on any sort of 9’ table, you’re no lower than 650
Ok thank you I appreciate the response I’m definitely going to try and figure it out
