Does playing Pool with Families or Friends mess up your real game??

It is hard for me to play with anyone who doesn't play well.

It gets old slaughtering baby seals and I lose interest.

I like playing people who shoot run-out pool.
I enjoy playing against strong(er) players. I'm not supposed to win... I enjoy the learning experience and knowing I have to concentrate/focus. I have a family member that loves to play however the phone is out and I do not like that. I'm good with beginners if they are listening and serious about playing pool not skeeball.

Does playing Pool with Families or Friends mess up your real game??

Definitely the time to practice a handy skill to have.
You don't have to be lights-out good with your opposite hand to play the occasional near the side rail shot that you can't reach with your normal hand.
Quickly switch and play the shot as if it's no big deal.
Often your opponent can't do that. Makes you better than him!

best i've done is a BNR left handed. but you gotta keep that oiled up, if you stop practicing it it will soon get rusty. i think extensions has made players less prone to play opposite handed these days

Sold $500 USD shipped Josey Radial Butt + xtension (slightly less for Canadians)

I originally purchased this custom made butt and custom made extension Nov 2023 new and direct from Josey Cues

Bocote Full Splice butt, baby ostrich leg leather wrap

Radial .845"

approx 29" , 15.8oz

balance, feel, and overall playability has been incredible.....reason for selling, I no longer enjoy leather wraps,
also, I never liked the fact that the pin fits all my radial shafts way too tight (guessing this is a Josey thing)

payment via paypal f&f
if you're in Canada reach out and we can work out a slightly lower price

All 3 balls are frozen to cushions, how to play?

Well, @mr3cushion I bow down to your superior knowledge on that - would not have thought of it and sure does look scary as the white heads to red then the top spin bites and ... amazing.

My Mentor Ernie Presto taught me this over 60 years ago!

He was Very Best friends/student of Jake Schaefer Jr, Jake taught it to him!
