Mike, I will have your cue and case in the mail tomorrow. I will also have it insured for the $500.00 value. Thanks again, Andy
Darren,

thanks for your reply, I will tell JA. I agree with you. I would fall asleep in the long races. I like pressure and playing to 100 i lose focus and wake up so far behind I cant catch up.

Plase dont take offence to me asking you, it wasnt personal, Ja just wanted to know. I felt awakward asking you as your a good friend and a player I have the highest respect for.

The answere is no, and its finished.

my very best

eric
Thanks alot...this would be a sick match...love to see it. wonder if they could make it happen in vegas around the time BCA is out there...huge crowd for that. could probably make a ton at say 20 per ticket in one of the grand pavilion ball rooms
In response to the appleton and ja match...forgive me but i dont want to sound like an idiot but who is ja???
Hi Eric
We met briefly in the foyer at The Mosconi Cup and you seem to be a cofidant of Johnny Archer. I spoke to Johnny on Sunday evening and we discussed a few things about his lack of success with his players organisation. I made a few suggestions on how to improve this situation so he asked me to send him a proposal. I have done some preliminary work on this but I would feel happier if I cold send it via yourself. I am not sure how famliar JA is with EMailing etc.
If you let me have a valid email address for YOu then I will send it to you. You are quite welcome to read it and comment to me but would you see that Johnny gets a copy to read
Glen, how tall is a Diamond 9 footer when its on the cart? Rough guess? The 8 foot Valleys are about 68". What about 7 footer. Thanks for the info, I've been looking at trailers and they're all different heights.
Sorry for the JA joke , sometimes I just can't help myself. Hope it doesn't offend you.
Also about the chess, I'm not a great player, I just enjoy it like pool.
Hi Greg, say, I've been meaning to ask, what is the darker wood on the cue? At first, I thought it was ebony but looking closer, I'm thinking something else, zircote maybe? Let me know, thanks. Mike.
read your post about playing chess, you sound like a pretty good player. I'm not very good but I enjoy playing, its been a long time since I played. Efren is a good player.

happy New Years

Eric:)
yeah I couldn't make it to his funeral back in England, but I hear lots of big names in the sport showed up to pay their respects. He left behind a daughter. Who knows, maybe some day she'll take her father's reins as a top class snooker player.
hey welcome to AZ, you sound like my wife when I met her. She was really into pool, and then she got out of college and then fell behind.. we have kids now, just wish she had the desire like I do, I live, breathe pool. Just started playing again, 1 nite a month, APA league, I used to play big local tourneys, on 9ft, but bar tables will do for now.
Hi John,

I'm just a small town pool player up here in northern Minnesota. I have never seen a professional play. I have never played 14.1 until Dec. 2010. I had to look up the rules of play and watch a couple of matches on YouTube just to learn the game. I have my own table but sadly it is a 7 foot Valley.

Is it easier with more playing surface because it seems like I have to be very tight with bumping balls around, a little too hard and the ball goes too close to the rail and on a 9' I could have easily pushed it over for the perfect break ball.

I did end up with a 99 ball run, it is posted on the challenge. If you have time with your busy schedule, could you give it a watch, I am 100% open to advice.

Thanks John,

PS Do you have any videos? I would love to watch and study your playing.
