Sir are you going to be in the Springfield Missouri area anytime in the near future. Iam getting back into the game after several years off and want to start out correctly. Also is there a good instructor in this same area I could work with on a regular basis.

Yes sir that is family, or most of them are. That was at my wedding in 2004. I had more than 400 people including the SWAT team and member of City Hall. I want you to know that I enjoy your post find them fair and balanced. I mean that in a good way.

You can use brown shoe polish to help with the scuffs. That kiwi paste will work. If the stitching is light colored, shoe polish will "dye" the thread. I don't think you can hurt that one easily. Lexol conditioner is good. Mink oil may darken it some but will add water resistance as well

Hi Dom this is Franko , I just remembered that you and I have met. What jogged my memory was your Mottey cue in the Gallery. One night up at the Wickcliffe Lanes 9 ball tournament Roger Jedlika came up to me and showed me this laid out Mottey that strongly resembled a Szamboti. It was your cue and he then introduced me to you. The two of you then played straight Pool on one of the back tables. It's funny how cues have such a strong place in a collectors mind.

Sorry to bother you again Marc,
I was wanting to know if this case should be oiled with mink oil or polish of some kind. anything of that nature. Is there a way to get rid of scuff marks? I don't want to put anything on it that may damage it.

I see you are a Chief, I assume the USN. I was a dentalman in the navy and met and treated more than 20 members f the Liberty crew. I respect your Navy rank and will not fight with you. By the way, I am also from Virginia, Lynchburg by way of Farmville.
