I'm a straight pool fan (was a friend of the late Babe Cranfield) and will be heading up to Potsdam to pick up my daughter from camp at SUNY-Potsdam this weekend. Was hoping I could find a place to play pool on Friday. Saw a post from you about places to play in college towns.

Were do you play in long island ? I'm from NYC and just moved to Florida A year ago . But i used to play on long island. I would play at Mr Cues in lindenhurst LI and Raxx in hempsted Li . I'm also a straight Pool Player. But I'm not getting many games here in florida .

I heard on your podcast interview with Adam Carolla that you used a sensory deprivation tank...how do you think that has worked for your game? Are you able to recall that relaxed state on demand when you play? Also curious what kind of cue you like...
