In the last week, I've read that Nine Ball is all luck, One Pocket is slow and boring, and Eight Ball is a stupid game as well. I have a suggestion for all these people who hate so many pool games.

I was once playing golf more than pool.. I really enjoyed golf... until I got into an elbow at the top of my back swing discussion.... all down hill from there.

I was just beginning to be a developing 15 handicapper with a reliable 230+ yard drive off the tee and a vicious 3 wood and a putter that chewed up greens and spit out one putts a LOT.... damn elbow....

My wife asked me 'what is the purpose of playing golf?" I replied 'to get the lowest score' she then asked 'what score do you start with?' I said 'zero' and she then looked at me with a weird look and asked 'why bother?' women?

Then I became a tournament director.... :p

Try some simple drills to enhance your cue ball control. Then, the game might become more enjoyable for you? If not. Take a 5 minute time out, go to your corner.:mad:

Oh, by the way... I don't mind the luck in 9 ball. I'll take all the help I can get:smile: I just like tennis:)

A few Questions - Golf

Do you have to play it on a snooker table?

What are the rules?

Why does it seem that only old men play golf (on a billiards table)?

How are we going to stop the whiners from back on the forum to complain that it's too:
- hard
- boring
-easy
-time consuming
-stupid
-much work?
 
How about lawn darts?

I think I am ready to join the local lawn dart league, but I won't because of the sandbaggers!!!!!
