Which pool player has the most "textbook" fundamentails??

Thorstenn was my first thought before I even clicked the thread calgary :) But also ralf. Not a ton of difference in their stroke. I think germany puts out those textbook strokes.

Can't say I see any imperfection in Alison Fisher's either, now that I think on it.

most of you are talking Men..

but facts are facts and Jasmin is as textbook a pool player, as Steve Davis is textbook at snooker..

IMOP David Matlock, my second would be my good friend Joel Weinstock....he doesn't play that much anymore but his stance, alignment, and delivery are so solid a tornado could hit him and I don't think it would affect the shot. Davids the same they both actually have a strong background in snooker and have that style stance as do I.

Ralph, Thorsten, Max Eberle, Deuel looks good IMO and Jasmin for the ladies. Xiaoting Pan has a very unique stroke the would seem very difficult to repeat with consistency but she does time and time again, that has to count for something - amazing mechanics

Corey Deuel is pretty solid.

In snooker, I like Ronnie O'Sullivan. He's what Alex Higgins would have been if Alex was more fundamentally solid. Watch Ronnie's final stroke timing (post 2000, particularily around 2007-2008), then compare it against Steve Mizerak, it's essentially the same. Shane Van Boening has a similar cue action.

Kim Davenport has always been absolutely solid with some of the best mechanics ever.

true, all those players from that area are known for that just as i mentioned david and joel, tyler strawn was one of the straightest shooters i ever saw as a teenager very solid mechanics. I find that players from the midwestern areas of OK,KS,MO are taught this better, they learn a more solid foundation from the get go. Must be in the water or something.;)
