You leave your house while you go to work.
Someone breaks in and cleans you out while you're gone.
You deserve it?
Somewhat flawed logic there Buddy.

Where do you get off thinking anyone deserves to have their belongings stolen? That is the most retarded comment I have read on here ever.

Nobody deserves having their things stolen. That statement was ridiculous.........

Sounds like the thief knew exactly what he was going for..most likely will end up being shipped overseas. Really sorry to hear these types of things.

Sorry to hear about the incredible loss. In the descriptions, they had prices like you were looking to sell at one time. Is that why you brought them with you? For potential sale?

Definitely is not your fault in my opinion, I just wonder why anyone would bring/keep all high end cues in their case just heading to a pool hall.

while he was in the washroom he left the cues and the cases unattended? If yes, he deserved it.

He deserverd it? I just can`t imagine a pool player saying that. I`m glad I don`t play in your pool room. I notice that your profile says that you "think you are a remarkable person". Might be time for a new quote.

Beautiful cues all. This sucks - thanks for the heads up. Hopefully the AZ community can help with their return to the rightful owner.

I'm not saying he deserved to have the cues stolen or I'm happy for it, or I would steal the case if I had the possibility. I'm simply saying I wouldn't ever leave my cues or case unattended. I just think is a bit naive to leave something you care while you are going to the bathroom or just leaving the place momentairly. It's just common sense.

when you leave your house do you leave it opened? When you leave your house you also says "look I'm leaving my house, I also left it opened". Why also don't you leave your car opened with the key inside? Leaving a case with cues inside ( also with *I believe* expensive cues) without nobody watching it is just stupid. It's a message to malicious people "I'm giving you opportunity to steal it".

that quote is of Earl Strickland.

I think we all are horrified at the loss. Some of those cues are irreplaceable. All are extremely collectable and valuable.

I think we all can agree that the victim could have taken greater care.

Please remember that slh is a brother whose primary language is not English. I think he deserves a little slack for poorly chosen words...not that we can't make fun of him for it.;)

That's a great quote. Strickland had just deleted Steve Davis in the 2003 9-ball world championships. It's the match he told the ref (Michaela Tab) to shut up. He was upset with the rowdy English crowd and felt she should have done more to quiet them. In the post game interview referring to his goodness as a person and dedication to the game he said he feels he's a remarkable person.

Great match. The whole thing is on YouTube.

Tough break mang :frown:

Personally I take my cue to the bathroom. Too many stories liek this make me a little paranoid!!!

Question for you... Were you talking about this cues or showing them to anybody in the room?? If so do you remember who was around you?? Maybe a shifty looking guy contemplation stealing these cues and actually doing it??

I never tell the price of my cue when people ask me. I lie and tell this it's a POS and I got it for cheap.

I hate to see this kind of thing happen. I doubt I will see your cues show up here in Missouri but i will keep an eye out and don't expect any reward.

No one deserves this. A victim shouldn't be blamed for the actions of a opportunist. It's sucks to think that you have to take all your belongings with you to the bathroom.

I'm not saying he deserved to have the cues stolen ...

Well, it is a good thing you cleared that up. I thought by you stating "he deserved it.", you meant that he deserved it. It sure is easy to misunderstand people on here.

I got your point but the way you said it came out wrong. You didn't far any better in the above reply either.
Better to be thought a Fool then to open your mouth and remove all Doubt.

My case has a sticker on it that reads, "Nothing in Here is Worth Dieing For" and everyone knows I mean it off handed. I would never pull out a piece over stuff, or would I?. Na, my stuff ain't worth it.
