What about trampoline??? The friggin' springs on that contraption is doing most of the hard work.
OTOH, how can something that can be done successfully by an overweight, drunk man smoking cigarettes be considered an Olympic sport???
Maniac (thinks the Olympics is already oversaturated with not-so-sporty-sports)
It's pretty simple really, the physical skill it takes to race a bicycle at Olympic levels is more than it takes to play pool at a comparable level,at least in the eyes of the people that make these decisions.
Consider that the best BMX pros go from a dead stop, run over a couple pieces of pipe and still go to 35mph faster than your vehicle probably does.
I agree though, pool SHOULD be an Olympic sport. The main thing it has on it's side is the sheer numbers of people that play it at least casually are just behind the main sports of soccer and basketball, maybe world-wide. Tommy D.
Dressage certainly doesn't need to be there.
Sure, the handler is an experienced rider but the 40 million dollar horse does the work.
I raced bmx for 7 years. played pool for bout 16 , bmx is much tougher. pool isnt even close to a sport.

My vehicle goes extremely fast so I doubt it. 400hp will do that.
