On topic with the thread, though, these are some of the tournaments I've played in:
- Super Billiards Expo's Diamond Open/Pro 10-ball (3 years running)
- Predator Pro-Am Tour's Open 10-ball (several stops, over the course of a couple years)
- Mike Zuglan's Joss 9-ball Tour (a couple stops, here and there)
- ...many smaller local tournaments, just to pass the time and for something to do on those rare times when the job doesn't get in the way:
- weekly (Sunday) handicapped 9-ball tournaments at Fast Eddie's Pool and Billiards (New Milford, CT)
- weekly (Sunday) handicapped 9-ball tournaments at Jack-n-Jills Billiards Cafe (Brewster, NY)
- Greenfields Sports Bar & Pub end-of-year Open 9-ball (Denver, CO -- when I'm out there visiting my folks during the Christmas holidays)
- ...etc.

Well, thanks, but I really stopped playing in the early nineties and only just recently started playing a few games every few weeks or so. To say I am rusty would be kind. So, yeah, just a banger. But I'm cool with that.

I hope to play in more, but my time is entirely dictated by that continuous distraction to playing pool, that day job thing (which, unfortunately for me, sometimes seems like a 24/7 thing).

I guess you think that when you have not been swimming in a long time you forget how to swim? Let somebody push you into the big water and see what happens! You can't fall in around Water Lock though he will be trying to save the water for Hanks famous water bottles. He will play you for a bottle of Hank's water too.

I like to play some snooker, golf, banks.
I play mostly for the enjoyment.
Can I change my Lock Society name to Dead Money Lock?

Nice try, Tim. However, that match video had already been discussed in a previous thread. While Joey T. no doubt played great, it was my first time on a live stream table and I was suffering an excruciating sinus headache that day (you'll even hear the commentators talking about it at one point when they noticed I was in pain). Not a great showing by any stretch of the imagination and I fully admit that.
But of course, as is your nature, anything to throw potshots and create discord, right?

I'm wondering if these "World Famous Lock Society members" are riding around in Parades in little funny looking go carts with dumb looking hat's like Shriners?Probably not...they aren't supporting a hospital.

Played in? Well... the first competitive match I played was in 1988 at the prestigious St. Stan's Social Club in the beautiful mill town of Turners Falls, MA....Lock N Load said:

But seriously, my first tournament win was a single game double elimination 8-ball bar tourney at another local social club (see a pattern?) in 1988 also. I won this tournament the first two weeks I played and they politely asked me me to not to play again. All the players were friendly and liked me but the club felt that they'd lose the members who were playing just for the fun of it. I complied and ended up being a member and eventually played many times there as a league player. But, this was a significant thing for me because I was suddenly viewed as a local top gun, even though I was almost always the youngest player in the field.
