Now that I'm in my prime, I'll play Shane, Earl, or McCready with one condition: A beautiful girl must rack and neither player can check. ;)

Bartrum and CJ, now that would be a match. By the way what ever happened to Mika, did he leave the game, I never hear about him playing anywhere.

I'd love to see Stevie Moore match up with someone in a TAR match!
 
JCIN, I have a suggestion, I know some people wouldn't agree with me on this one, but I am the type of guy who likes the 80's and 90's matches, which if you recall were all being played on green cloth, since 2002 all tournament changed to blue cloth, same goes with TAR, is there anyway to bring back the old look/style which are.

Green cloth, old balls (purple 4 ball, not pink)

I would love to see that come back to pool, its always beautiful playing on green cloth, I don't know why they think blue is better for the eyes when I really think its the other way around, look at snooker, its bigger, smaller balls, yet they play on green, guess why.
 
I agree about the green cloth. The blue reflects the light better but you lose some of the contrast of the bright & white balls against the darker green. The blue is okay but the green is better except then shooting the 6 or 14 from near a rail from a long distance away. Especially when you have an astigmatism. I'd still rather the green.

Are you saying you would bet your own playing them on a TAR match. Or would you play them in the TAR free roll. Big difference. Referring mostly about Shane and earl if he could play on TAR

Blue cloth brightens everything up, less shadows and it looks better.

Watched Fats/Mosconi on Youtube playing 8 ball on a 8 x 4 i think , one was 65 , the other was 64 . They weren't sharp and didn't play well , probably because neither played much .

A good TAR match would be Parica / Reyes , before they get any older , Parica is close to mid 60's and still has game . Three disciplines , 15 ball rotation , 1p and 9 ball .
 
Keith is done, IMO. He has had several opp's to make a comeback and, to my knowledge, has declined them all!:frown:

From reading many of JAM's post, he has resided himself to hanging around the house and playing poker! Not that would be a bad thing but his days in the pool world seem to be all but over!

Maybe Keith has finally found the life!
 
it is my belief that Keith would draw the biggest PPV in TAR history no matter who he plays.

I love watching Sigel play. I would like to see him in an all around vs anyone especially with 14.1 as one of the disciplines :)....

Yeah, everyone wants to watch two has beens, both legends in their own right, play an almost unwatchable version of nine ball rather than see two of the top four from the Derby City nine ball play rotation pool using the currently sanctioned version of the game. Add to that the fact that Dechaine whitewashed Van Boening 9-2 at the Derby and you've got some serious drama between two of the truly elite.

That's unfortunate. With 100 % certainty I won't be purchasing any TAR events. One of the most talented people to ever pick up a cue and you ban him because you don't like his attitude ? I would have starved if I took that attitude to work everyday. I think I'm starting to see why pool has trouble getting air time on tv.

I defy anyone to work with Earl for a week and not come out of the experience wishing they would of been waterboarded instead. Life is too short.
