Who are the 'Old Schoolers' of AZ

I'm old school, but not necessarily to the pages of AZ.
I hope that my attempts at humor have at least occasionally lightened the moment, and my comments and suggestions have at least occasionally been of benefit. :)

What do you mean attempts? You Da Man!!!!! You are the master of physical therapy. You learned long ago it takes fewer muscles to smile than frown. Keep up the great work!

Kid, that's the nicest thing anyone has said to me since a girl at the pool hall asked for a ride home.
She thought I was a cab driver. :)

I was here way before under a different name - then re registered under my present name in 2003. I remember the real old format before it changed. I don't post much but check in once in a while. I am about as old school as they come. That really does not make me feel any better, just a lot older! LOL

This old shit is quickly becoming way overrated, I'd rather be young.

Bump to the best thread I ever started on AZ.

Happy New Year to the Old Schoolers.......I am about to hit my 10 year anniversary of being on this site.

I joined in October 2006 prior to that I lurked for a few years without a login.

I must be old school, my wife says I smell old.

A month behind ya...and I'm Old.

Old enough to have learned....don't mention Howdy Dooty, Soupy Sales or Roy Rogers in mixed generational company....just gets awkward.

Strange...It says "join date" 2006. This can't possibly be right. I remember posting on AZ in the late 90's. I actually discovered AZ through the Monk's forum. I think my first AZ post would have been in the 1998 neighborhood. Not sure if that qualifies. Why does the join date say 2006?

Oh well,

Isn't this the second evolution of AZB? Remember joining a few years before my date of March 2003 as well. Seem to remember this being an Arizona Billiards forum first. Isn't it great getting old!

With this site being around now for quite the time and me being gone for a period of time, it appears to me that lately there has been more of an influx of new members actively posting than in the recent years. I used to read posts and threads and know most people involved. Now I don't know many of them.

Makes me think, who are the Old Schoolers of AZ -

Trigger, Blackjack, Cuaba, Fast N Loose, Fatboy (well only Fatboy1 not Fatboy2), Hangemhigh, JAM, JB Cases, JoeyA, Manwon, Ribdoner, Rossaroni, Williebetmore, Spidey, Houmatroy, Mikeyfrost, lfigueroa, Terry Ardeno, Corvette, JCIN, Jay Helfert, Saw, ME....I am sure there are a slew more but those are off the top of my head.

I've been on AZ since the beginning. Had a couple of name changes but I've been here forever. Also was on RSB that all the Old Schooler's knew very well.

I literally haven't been on in a year and I see this post on the front page like I never left! I joined one month after you!

Happy New Year Watchez!

Read my book here...joined the forum

My join date reads 11-30-2005...but I self-published my little novel WONDERBOYS in 1998. Soon after that, Mike H. was cool enough to serialize it on this site one chapter (scene) each week for 62 weeks. I then became a member...so AYE I am old school here. Have posted some...not much...read forum stuff at least once a week.

Became good friend of Mike H. since that time...and we have yet to meet in person...he comes to Florida fifty times a year and zips right through Orlando without a 'by your leave.' Kicks my keister at online backgammon...but I would seriously like to play him 'live' for a dime a point. I would also take the wild 8-ball from him for a dollar a game. He is definitely avoiding me.
