I'll certainly listen
Do we haveta? :barf:

So now ABR is giving would-be stakehorses with no track record a platform. I don't see this as a positive development for ABR, although it's their platform to do with as they please.
Humm ,, he may just be the smartest one here he has numeras posts about him he's got pro pool players signing contracts that's paying them nothing , he's got ESPN on the line and he's doing a streamed radio show ,
Hardly the work of a dummy

I agree... ABR wants listeners, and so does French, I guess. Why can't French just draft up a written "press release" and send to AzB to publish?

Even though we have already formed our opinion, ABR is being "impartial" and giving both sides of this issue a chance to lay their side of the problem out.
I don't think either party is blameless here personally. But I would have to say the lion's share of the fault lies with JF.
Yes, but one party is a member of the legitimate world of pro pool and the other has tired but failed to latch on to the world of pro pool.
Will every would-be stakehorse that is unable to come to terms with one or more pro players be given a platform with ABR even if they fall outside the boundaries of pro pool?
In what sense is a failed contract between an out-of-industry entrepreneur and a pro player the business of the pool media? In addition, why should I care what the billiard media thinks of this contract?
Maybe I'm missing the boat here, but this coverage doesn't seem to make sense.
Everyone here seems to think they're the funniest swingin dicks around. All I wanted was some news of the Dennis/Shane match and I have to wade thru all this comedy.

1. If they were responsible for, involved in the success of, or demise of, potentially the highest dollar 1 on1 money match in u.s. history, then the answer is yes, no matter who they might or might not be.
If they are potentially negotiating pool coverage with ESPN, then yes, no matter who they might or might not be.
If they have swindled, conned, screwed, or in some other way shafted a pro player out of 50% of their earnings for a decade, then the answer is yes, no matter who they are or what industry they might work in.
The above all falls under the category of "news" in the pool world in 2016.
2. You shouldn't care what the media thinks. Nobody should.
But this is not an opinion piece, it's an opportunity for both sides to explain why this epic match failed. Our opinion means absolutely nothing.
Taken a step further, communication is a valuable tool.
The truth can set an innocent man free
The truth can protect innocent people
Which one of these would be bad?
