anyone else have video proof of making this shot?

A few old guys I knew when I was a kid could make it pretty regularly. It's a cool shot because of the slow speed needed to spin it back to the pocket. really cool shot, closest I've ever come is an inch from making it. I'll see if I can make it one-handed on film.

I have'nt made it yet,but I'm getting close..I come in to the long rail about two inchs short..I really like that shot.

LOL ! Sick as usual....one handed LOL !

One handed....lol nice..shaking my head an wipping the tears out my eyes..thanks for the laugh man..I know your good, but I'm thinking Bob is smiling.

I was just talking about this exact shot the other night. I have seen this shot made many times, on a tight GC. I also recall seeing someone set that shot up but cut it back into the side pocket, not for sure on that one though.

How good a player is Bob? His fundamentals look ropey to me. The way he lines up suggests he'd struggle to make it in the side, let alone the corner.

I can set up the camera but my table is only an 8 footer at the moment so it wouldn't be quite as hard... I will tell you this tho there are 2 more ways of making it besides the way Bob did it.......

Another way???

One of the other ways is how Vernon Elliot could do it for the "CHEESE"!
The cue-ball in the deepest part of left hand side (as the viewer faces the shooter), of the corner pocket, at ninety miles an hour!!!
Verifiable? Ask "Freddy the Beard," he's seen that shot, too!!!

Bobby Leggs used to do it.

that would actually be tougher on a smaller table. the smaller the table, the tougher that shot is (assuming same size balls of course)

set it up and film it. there's a bunch of talkers....but i don't see any cheese fallin.

here's my lame attempt the other night:
whoooosh

You can make even 91-92 degree cut shots. Put a lot of draw on the cueball and hit it hard, the backspin will help the object ball cut back to the pocket.
